Veteran Receiver Faces Uphill Battle for Fantasy Relevance After Quiet Season
Josh Reynolds enters his tenth NFL season coming off a highly quiet 2025 campaign with the Jets, where he caught just 11 passes for 101 yards in five games. The 31-year-old veteran has seen his production steadily decline since his productive 2023 season in Detroit, where he posted 604 yards and five touchdowns.
Currently rostered in just five percent of leagues, Reynolds lacks a defined fantasy role heading into the 2026 season. Without an active season projection or guaranteed starting volume, fantasy managers are completely ignoring him in drafts. His career path suggests he is merely a depth piece at this stage.
Unless he lands in an offense desperate for veteran depth and experiences injuries ahead of him, we do not project him to be a viable option in standard redraft formats. He can be left on the waiver wire in all but the deepest of dynasty leagues.
