Bears Week 11 Fantasy Football Outlook | Can You Trust Caleb Williams, D'Andre Swift, D.J. Moore, Cole Kmet, Rome Odunze and More with Starting Slots?
Analyzing the Bears' top fantasy options going into week 11.
Coming into the season, the Chicago Bears’ offense looked like a fantasy football owner’s dream.
The team had D.J. Moore and Cole Kmet from last year’s team, added Keenan Allen in free agency and Rome Odunze in the draft and tied things all together by selecting Caleb Williams to run the show.
Things haven’t gone as smoothly as anticipated, and the team recently fired their offensive coordinator in hopes of jumpstarting the offense and season before things spiraled too far out of control.
Let’s take a look at the team’s top offensive options heading into week 11, and then determine which players, if any, are worthy of starting fantasy spots.

Offensive Ranks
Chicago is averaging 277.7 offensive yards per game, which ranks third-worst in the league. Only the Browns and Patriots rank lower.
The Bears average 169.6 passing yards, again the third-lowest mark in the league. Only the Titans and Patriots are worse off. Chicago averages 108.1 rushing yards, which is 24th in the league.
Chicago is averaging 19.4 points, which is the ninth-lowest mark in the league.
With all the offensive talent the team has at its disposal, those numbers are frankly unacceptable.
Season Stats
Williams has completed just 60.5% of his passes (178-of-294) this season. He’s thrown for 1,785 yards (198.3 yards per game and just 6.1 per pass attempt). Williams has nine touchdown passes to five interceptions.
The rookie has added 236 rushing yards, but no scores, on 40 attempts so far. Williams hasn’t topped 10 fantasy points in any of the past three games, and has just three games over 15 fantasy points on the season.
D’Andre Swift has been the team’s top running back. He’s rushed for 564 yards and four touchdowns on 141 attempts. That’s a 4-yard average. Swift also has 230 receiving yards, but no scores, on 26 grabs and 30 targets.
After a slow start to the season, Swift got really hot between weeks 4-8 (with the team on its bye in week 7). He’s scored just 22 fantasy points the past two weeks, and that was heavily aided by a six-catch performance in week 9.
Moore has 398 yards and three touchdowns on 40 catches and 66 targets this season. He had 1,364 yards and eight scores on 96 grabs and 136 targets last season.
With more offensive talent around him, a little drop off was expected, but Moore has barely looked like a startable standard league wideout this season. He’s topped 15 fantasy points just twice, and hasn’t scored in double figures the past four weeks, with just 24 points in that span.
Odunze has 414 yards, but only one score, on 28 receptions and 50 targets this season.
He’s topped 15 points twice as well, but those were also his only game in double figures as a fantasy scorer. Odunze has only topped 45 receiving yards twice.
Allen has only 241 yards and two scores on 26 receptions and 48 targets - he’s played seven out of the nine games.
He’s only scored in double figures as a fantasy player once, and that’s only because he scored two touchdowns in that game. He has not topped 45 yards in a single game.
Kmet has 316 yards and three scores on 29 grabs and 34 targets. He had 719 yards and six touchdowns on 73 receptions and 91 targets last season.
Again, some drop off was expected, but he’s been nonexistent in a bunch of games. He has two games in which he combined for 50 fantasy points, and he’s only got 31 points in the other seven contests combined.
Week 11 Matchups and Projections
The Bears take on the Packers in week 11. The teams are meeting for the first time this season.
It’s a tough matchup for Williams, as Green Bay surrenders just 14 fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks. The clash for Swift and the Chicago backs is more average, as Green Bay gives up 22 points.
It’s a tougher matchup for the receivers, with Green Bay giving up 30 points a week. It’s a little more favorable matchup for Kmet, as the Pack allows 13 fantasy points per game.
Williams is projected for 12 fantasy points this week. Swift sits at 15 PPR points, while backup Roschon Johnson is at four.
Moore is the top-projected Chicago wideout, sitting at 11 PPR points. Allen is set for 10 and Odunze nine. Kmet is projected for seven PPR points.
Starting Recommendations
I am not a fan of starting Williams this week. Hopefully the offensive coordinator shakeup will jumpstart the offense, but not having seen the effects yet and in a tougher matchup, I’d be against starting Williams. The only way I would be in a very deep league, or in a two-QB setup.
I’d be OK giving Swift a starting spot in all league types. He’s been the most consistent Chicago fantasy performer this season, and in a fairly average matchup, I think he delivers a solid fantasy total.
The matchup isn’t good enough to also start Johnson. He’d be a desperation play in a deep league, and likely need a touchdown to put up a solid score. No thank you.
I’d also be against starting Moore, Odunze and Allen. There’s too many mouths to feed there, and it’s tough to predict which will lead the way. They are starting options in deeper leagues only in my eyes. I’d guess Odunze is the top performer, followed by Moore and then Allen.
I wouldn’t mind starting Kmet this week, but would feel much better doing it in a deeper league. The matchup is the reasoning behind that.
