Brooks Lee, Bryson Stott & More Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Hitters to Add

We just went over some fantasy baseball pitcher waiver wire/streaming options for Thursday, and are now going to go over hitters here.

Brooks Lee - Minnesota Twins

Lee has been added in 4.84% of fantasy baseball leagues already today. He's at 38.17% overall now.

He went hitless on Wednesday, but tallied seven hits in the four games before that. Lee has a .261 average and .313 on-base percentage over his 34 games played and 128 plate appearances this season.

Lee has 31 total hits, including four doubles and five home runs. He has 16 runs scored, 21 RBIs, two stolen bases, eight walks and 24 strikeouts.

He's played shortstop exclusively this season, but could be eligible at second and third base from past seasons, which would add to his fantasy value. Lee is a good deep-league pickup today, but might top out in deep leagues. He's worth tracking in case he keeps delivering, or takes another step forward.

Ezequiel Duran - Texas Rangers

Duran has been picked up in 2.87% of leagues, which brings his overall mark to 6.35%.

Duran is on a four-game hitting streak, and has six knocks over that span. His hot streak has bumped his average to .303, and he's getting on base at a .372 clip over 28 games and 87 plate appearances this season now.

He has 23 total hits, including seven doubles, a triple and a home run. Duran has 11 RBIs, 12 runs scored, four stolen bases, nine walks and 16 strikeouts.

Duran has played all over the field this season, and in the past, so check into what positions he's eligible at - the more, the better. Duran is another deep-league option only, but for really deep leagues. If he keeps producing, he could be worth adds in all deeper leagues, so keep tabs on him.

Bryson Stott - Philadelphia Phillies

Stott is rostered in 39% of leagues right now. He was as low as 34% on May 3, so he's back on the rise again.

He has five hits over six games this month, but three of those are home runs. Those are Stott's only homers this season, but he also has two triples and three doubles among his 23 total knocks.

Stott has a .215 average and .263 OBP over 31 games and 116 plate appearances. He has 13 RBIs, nine runs scored, six stolen bases, six walks and 21 strikeouts.

The second baseman is capable of much more, and maybe he's starting to turn his season around. He's worth adding in some deeper leagues today, and could get back in standard leagues if he raises his average and OBP. Keep tabs on Stott, because we know he can be a fantasy asset worth ownership and utilization in all leagues.

Samuel Basallo - Baltimore Orioles

Basallo is up 3.94% today, which brings his overall mark to 41.4%.

He has four hits over his past two games, and seven hits over six games this month. Basallo now sits with a .257 average and .330 OBP over 29 games and 112 plate appearances.

Basallo has 26 total hits, including four doubles, a triple and five home runs. He has 14 RBIs, 12 runs scored, 11 walks and 29 strikeouts so far.

The primary catcher could also be eligible at first base, which would bump his fantasy value up a bit. He starts at designated hitter a decent amount too, so he's getting in the lineup enough. Basallo is starting to show more promise with the bat, so he's worth adding in more deeper leagues, and tracking for possible standard league adds down the line.

Kazuma Okamoto - Toronto Blue Jays

Okamoto has risen 2.17% today and now sits at 84.76% overall.

Okamoto has a hit in all six games so far this month, and nine knocks over that span. He's bumped his average to .246 and OBP to .331 after his hot start to May.

Over 36 games and 151 plate appearances, Okamoto has 33 total hits, including 10 home runs and three doubles. He has 23 RBIs, 19 runs scored, 17 walks and 44 strikeouts.

His start to the season wasn't great, but Okamoto seems to be figuring things out now. He's mostly played third base, but could eventually add first base eligibility too. Okamoto is worth owning in all deeper leagues, and he's getting close to being a must-own guy in standard leagues. Act now before he's scooped up in your leagues.
