Miguel Sano 1 Game Suspension
After losing his appeal, Miguel Sano will serve a one game suspension for what the league is calling "aggressive actions."
The Minnesota Twins third baseman found himself in trouble after he was yelling and pointing his bat at opponent pitcher Matthew Boyd. Sano was upset when Boyd threw behind him, and that's how this situation happened. Catcher James McCann jumped right up and got in Sano's face to try and stop him from doing anything further so he didn't get ejected from the game. It was a very tense couple of minutes and the league later fined Boyd for an intentional pitch thrown at Sano.
Sano will serve his game suspension on Tuesday night.
