Week 17 Thursday DFS Lineup: RJ Harvey, Terry McLaurin, Jake Ferguson and More
Morgan puts together a DFS lineup for the week 17 Thursday games.
Week 17 of the NFL regular season opens with three games on Thursday, which is Christmas. Let's put together a DFS lineup for the day's games!
We have to fill nine lineup spots and stay under the $50,000 budget. Let's see what we come up with!
Also be sure to check back for fantasy football breakdowns of all those games as well.

Quarterback - Bo Nix ($6,000)
I opened the DFS contest by taking Nix at quarterback.
He is averaging 19.9 fantasy points per game on the season, and has 20.2 and 32.1 over the past two weeks.
He has a below-average matchup against the Chiefs, but with KC eliminated, I'm betting on a better fantasy finish for Nix. The Denver quarterback scored 12.6 fantasy points against the Chiefs back in week 11, and that was without a touchdown.
Running Back - RJ Harvey ($6,500)
Another Bronco here at running back with Harvey.
He is averaging 12.3 fantasy points per contest on the season, and had 22.1 last week. Harvey scored eight fantasy points against the Chiefs a few weeks ago, and that was on 14 touches.
His matchup is tough, but again, I'm not as scared of the Kansas City defense now that the team is eliminated, so I'd start Harvey with confidence this week.
Running Back - Chris Rodriguez ($5,500)
Rodriguez gets my second running back spot.
He has a very good matchup coming against the Cowboys. Rodriguez is averaging 6.4 fantasy points per game on the season, but has two double-digit outings over the past three contests.
I think Rodriguez will reach double digits again in a favorable matchup, as long as Washington isn't blown out.
Wide Receiver - George Pickens ($7,300)
Pickens is the first of three wide receiver picks.
He has a very favorable matchup against Washington, who he scored 12.2 fantasy points against back in week 7. Pickens is averaging 19.5 fantasy points per game, and is coming off a 29-point outing.
I'd love for Pickens to deliver like he did last week, but anything around his season average should do.
Wide Receiver - Terry McLaurin ($5,800)
McLaurin gets the second WR nod.
His matchup against the Cowboys is as good as it gets. McLaurin did not play against Dallas in the first matchup.
McLaurin is averaging 11.6 fantasy points per game on the season, but only scored 8.3 points last week. He had 15.9 in week 15, so I'm hoping for more of that this coming week.
Wide Receiver - Courtland Sutton ($6,000)
Sutton is the third and final wideout for this DFS lineup.
He is averaging 14.4 fantasy points per game, and has 20.6 and 27.3 over the past two contests. Sutton had 9.9 fantasy points in the first meeting against KC in week 11, but has 12.2 or more in the four games since.
The matchup is below average, but again, I see the Broncos' offense finding more success against this version of the Kansas City defense.
Tight End - Jake Ferguson ($4,300)
I went with Ferguson as my tight end.
He is averaging 12.1 fantasy points per game on the season, but has been at 11.8 or less fantasy points in eight straight contests. Ferguson has scored 4.9 and 3.6 points over the past two games.
Ferguson has a very favorable matchup against Washington, who he scored 21.9 fantasy points against back in week 7. If he replicates that performance, this DFS team could be in great shape.
Flex - Deebo Samuel Sr. ($4,800)
I went with Samuel as a fourth wideout in this DFS lineup. There weren't a lot of great flex options for $4,900 or less, so I chose the guy with a decent role and good matchup.
Samuel is averaging 12.3 fantasy points per contest on the season. He has scored 6.5, 7.3 and 6.7 points over the past three games.
Samuel did not play against Dallas in the first matchup. The favorable matchup should help him and McLaurin to good fantasy scores this time around.
DST - Broncos DST ($3,700)
The Broncos DST has been a good option most of the season, and I love their matchup against a depleted Chiefs' offense this week.
The DST is averaging 7.8 fantasy points per contest, and scored eight against KC in the first matchup, when the Chiefs had Patrick Mahomes - and an urgency to win.
There's a chance the Broncos DST excels this week and puts up a huge fantasy score.
