Should You Add Juwan Johnson?
Johnson is the No. 3 fantasy PPR tight end heading into the Monday night game in week 10. He went for 92 yards and a score on four catches and targets.
He's scored in double figures in four straight games, so Johnson has been a steady fantasy asset. I understand not wanting to trust the Saints' offense, but Johnson is delivering time and time again.
I'd say his performance this week was a high-end performance for him. Most weeks, I'd like him better between 4-6 catches and 40-60 yards. The added bonus of touchdowns gives him a bit higher outlook though.
Unfortunately, he's on a bye in week 11, so he won't be an option next week. He could still be worth adding in some leagues, especially if you are lacking at tight end.
Keep him in mind for week 12 if he goes untouched on your league's waiver wire this week.
Should You Add Dalton Schultz?
Schultz had 53 yards and a score on seven receptions and 11 targets in the team's comeback win over the Jaguars in week 10.
He has put together back-to-back good fantasy showings, and has been in double figures in four of the past five weeks. Really, outside weeks 1, 2 and 8, he's been an average-or-better fantasy tight end.
What's nice is that he's delivered nice fantasy showings with both of the Houston quarterbacks, so he's more trustworthy, regardless of who starts going forward.
He has the Titans in week 11. That's a tough matchup on paper, but he went for 30 yards on five catches and six targets in the last matchup against them, and is in a better place to contribute this time around.
Should You Add Cade Otton?
Otton should be on the rise again after going for 82 yards on nine receptions and 12 targets in week 10.
He now has four double-digit fantasy outings over the past five Tampa Bay games. Otton's best fantasy showing came on Sunday.
Otton still hasn't scored, but if he can deliver this many fantasy points without a score, that makes him a good option for the time being. Things definitely will be tough in week 11 against the Bills though.
Buffalo has allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing tight ends so far. Otton has delivered enough to trust a bit more, but his ranking for week 11 will be lower thanks to the brutal matchup.
At a position where fantasy players are hard to come by, Otton is still a pretty good waiver wire pickup in my eyes.
Should You Add Theo Johnson?
Johnson put together what I think was his best showing of the season. He didn't score a touchdown, so it wasn't his best fantasy outing, but going for 75 yards on seven catches and eight targets is definitely what fantasy owners should like to see.
Johnson has scored five times already this season, and is set up well without many other playmakers left for the Giants. He'd take a hit if Jaxson Dart missed week 11, but a favorable matchup against the Packers should give fantasy owners enough reason to play him still.
Green Bay is below average when it comes to slowing opposing fantasy tight ends, and their number could look worse after Dallas Goedert and the Eagles get done with them on Monday night.
Again, Johnson might not be the sexiest fantasy name, but at a position lacking great options, he's worth adding and trying going forward.
Should You Add Colby Parkinson?
Parkinson broke out in week 10, going for 41 yards and a score on four catches and five targets. He scored for the first time, and easily had his best fantasy outing as a result.
The Rams' tight end had just nine catches to this point of the season coming into Sunday's game. Parkinson hadn't been targeted more than three times in a game either.
It's going to be hard to trust Parkinson after just one good showing, but at tight end, he's definitely an option to consider moving forward now.
His week 11 matchup against the Seahawks is an above-average test, so Parkinson could be able to build on his week 10 outing. This will be the first time this season that these teams have met.
I wouldn't add Parkinson in standard leagues, but he's worth some adds in deeper leagues - he could be a decent starting option for week 11, and maybe the rest of the season if he can keep building on this week's outing.
Should You Add Mark Andrews?
Andrews' statlines continue to underwhelm, but he keeps scoring touchdowns, so he was back in double figures again on Sunday.
He had 14 yards on three catches and five targets, but scored a touchdown. Andrews had 22 yards and two scores on two receptions and three targets last week.
I know it's risky adding a player who gets most of his fantasy value from scoring touchdowns, but with Lamar Jackson back, Andrews' fantasy outlook is pretty high the rest of the season.
His week 11 matchup against Cleveland is a below-average test for him. Andrews was held in check against them back in week 2, going for just a two-yard catch on three targets.
Andrews is trending up, and isn't the worst starting option in all leagues despite the tough matchup and previous poor fantasy result.
Should You Add Colston Loveland?
Loveland stayed hot by going for 55 yards on four catches and targets in week 10. It was a way lower fantasy score than he had in week 9, but he's still trending up overall.
He's definitely in the conversation for standard league starts now, and is worth starting in most deeper leagues.
His week 11 matchup against the Vikings will be an above-average test for the tight end. Loveland only had 12 yards on two catches and targets back in week 1 against Minnesota.
I like his outlook better this week, so don't read too much into that performance from the first week of the season.
Should You Add Zach Ertz?
Ertz did some nice things in week 10, and has a stellar matchup for week 11, so he'll be added in a good amount of leagues.
He caught four of his five targets this week for 54 yards. I feel like that's a pretty good fantasy floor projection for Ertz going forward. This performance came with Marcus Mariota too, so that should make it easier to start the veteran TE moving forward.
Ertz has a stellar matchup against the Dolphins in week 11 - only two defenses allow more fantasy points per game to tight ends.
Ertz would be helped if Terry McLaurin remains out of the picture, but I'd still like starting Ertz even if McLaurin is back. He's a fantasy TE with a solid floor, and in this matchup, his fantasy ceiling is good enough to start him in most leagues.
Should You Add Harold Fannin or David Njoku?
In week 10, Fannin tallied 44 yards on four catches and seven targets. Njoku only had 21 yards on two catches and targets, but scored a touchdown to finish as the better fantasy asset.
They are both pretty solid deep-league fantasy options at this point. I like Fannin's fantasy outlook more, but Njoku is capable of outscoring him any week too.
Their week 11 matchup is against the Ravens, which is a below-average test. Njoku had 40 yards on four catches and five targets the last time these teams met, while Fannin tallied 48 yards on five receptions and targets.
Both are again solid deep-league options, and could be standard league streaming options in a pinch.
Should You Add Noah Fant?
Cincinnati was off this week, and matches up against a familiar foe in week 11. They will play the Steelers, which is a matchup that just occurred in week 7.
Fant had 44 yards and a score on four receptions and targets in the last matchup against Pittsburgh. The Steelers are a top-five fantasy TE matchup overall.
Fant has scored six or more PPR points in four straight games, with two games in double figures. He's just a deep-league option, but in a favorable matchup, is a pretty good asset to go after for next week.
