Daily Fantasy Sports are the best way for fans to get involved if they don't want to put in the time and effort of a year-long fantasy football league. We've all been in a league with someone who stops checking their team after a few weeks and just leaves a dead spot; it sucks.

DFS is a more rapid-pace, instant gratification way to play that keeps short attention spans in the world of cell phones, sports betting, and more screens than you know what to do with.

Let's look at a DFS lineup for the Sunday/Monday games built around the best quarterback matchup of the week and several other stars. Most stats are from NFL.com.

Quarterback

Jayden Daniels, Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have allowed the most yards per pass attempt and the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks. There's not a better team to target with passers or pass catchers right now than Dallas.

Daniels is without his top two receivers in this one, something that brings down his ceiling. He will still have plenty of chances to run and throw the ball around the field, and Daniels is likely to build volume in what could be a high-scoring game.

There is a chance here for Daniels to put up the best fantasy score of the week; he's my favorite DFS quarterback.

Running Backs

Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons @ San Francisco 49ers

Quinshon Judkins, Cleveland Browns vs. Miami Dolphins

I always pick at least one superstar at running back, and what better guy than Robinson? He touches the ball often in both the run game and the passing game, able to match volume and efficiency. There's a reason Robinson was the top RB drafted in many leagues.

Judkins has one of best matchups of the week, as the Dolphins have allowed the third-most yards per rush attempt and the fourth-most fantasy points per game to running backs. He is also the clear leader of the backfield and handles almost every rush attempt, a tough player to find. Judkins has the chance at a lot of work this week against one of the worst defenses in football.

Wide Receivers/Flex

Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears vs. New Orleans Saints

Rashee Rice, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints @ Chicago Bears

Luke McCaffrey, Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys

Here is the bulk of the team this week. I feel good about every other position, but this is the group that will make or break this lineup. There's a mix of high-level play, hope from the middle, and a low-level player with the chance to break out with an expanded role.

Odunze looks like he's ascending into the top tier of receivers in his second season. His rankings are a little lower because the Bears already had their bye, but Odunze is averaging 4.4 catches, 65.6 yards, and one touchdown per game, leading his team in every receiving stat.

On the opposite sideline from Odunze is Olave. This is a matchup of two teams with poor pass defenses, giving both receivers the chance at good games. Olave has a low floor playing with Spencer Rattler as his quarterback, but he is averaging 6.5 catches and 57 yards per game, fine production.

Rice missed the first six games of the season when he was suspended. He makes his debut here against a vulnerable Raiders team that has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to WRs. Rice was the top receiver in Kansas City previously, and he is expected to take back that role without any limitations.

Lastly, we have McCaffrey, who has scored three touchdowns and reached at least 50 yards in two of the past four games. Terry McLaurin and Deebo Samuel Sr. are both out for this game, so Washington needs someone to step up. McCaffrey and Chris Moore are the two names most likely to make a difference among the receivers.

Tight End

Harold Fannin, Cleveland Browns vs. Miami Dolphins

Let's go back to targeting the Dolphins, one of my favorite teams to go after in 2025. Miami has allowed the fourth-most yards per pass attempt and the sixth-most fantasy points per game to tight ends.

Cleveland already has a dearth of pass catchers, and David Njoku will miss this game. There are going to be plenty of targets to go around for Fannin and Jerry Jeudy; the Browns had thrown more passes than any other team entering Week 7.

We have a player here who has found early success, especially through volume, and he has one of the best matchups available for his position. Fannin is a strong fantasy player at a low DFS cost.

Defense/Special Teams

Cleveland Browns vs. Miami Dolphins

I usually wouldn't be excited about having three players/groups from the Cleveland Browns on my roster, but that shows you just how bad the Dolphins have been this season. Miami is a poor offensive team as well as on defense, offering value here.

Cleveland also has a strong defense, sitting in the middle in yards per pass attempt allowed and ranking first in fewest yards per rush attempt. Miami is a hobbled team and short on offense, so the Browns have the chance here to get after Tua Tagovailoa and hold the Dolphins to a low-scoring affair.
