Top Tacklers
Titans' Cedric Gray leads the NFL in week 4 (so far) with 17 total tackles.
He has 36 tackles now on the season, so this performance was a bit of a surprise, and is likely to be an outlier. Gray hasn't provided any other notable stats this season, but the big-tackle performance will at least get his name on the IDP map.
Colts' Nick Cross had 14 tackles on Sunday. He had a half sack among the tackles, and now has 34 tackles and 1.5 sacks for the season. Cross is one of the more underrated options at safety, and is worth weekly starts in a lot of IDP leagues.
Steelers' Payton Wilson and Chargers' Troy Dye had 13 tackles each on Sunday.
Wilson has 35 tackles on the season now, showing he's a pretty good weekly IDP option. He hasn't provided a splash play yet, but he's a good asset on his tackles alone.
Dye has 13 tackles on the season, so this looks like another outlier performance. He's definitely someone to keep in mind after an outing like this though.
Patriots' Jack Gibbens finished with 12 tackles this week. It was easily his best outing of the season, as he has just 17 tackles overall now. He's another name to keep in mind, but we'll need another good showing before he's unleashed in all IDP leagues.
Steelers' Patrick Queen, Lions' Jack Campbell, Bears' Tremaine Edmunds, Cowboys' Jack Sanborn and Packers' Quay Walker all finished with 11 tackles in week 4.
Queen had a sack among his tackles, and now has 35 tackles on the season. He's been a good IDP option most of his career, and that's still the case in 2025.
Campbell now has 37 tackles on the season, with at least eight in each game. That shows he's a steady and reliable weekly IDP option.
Edmunds is up to 40 tackles already this season, and has at least seven in each game. He's been a stellar IDP option in the early going, and should be utilized in most leagues every week.
Sanborn swatted down a pass in the team's tie with the Packers. He has 32 tackles on the season, so while he's a bit lower than some of the guys we've discussed so far, he's also still a solid weekly IDP option.
Walker has 42 tackles on the season now, including at least eight in each contest. He's a really good weekly option, and should be started based on his tackle totals alone.
Sack Leaders
Chargers' Tuli Tuipulotu leads the NFL with four sacks this week.
Tuipulotu finished with 10 tackles, and he also forced a fumble, so it was a monster IDP showing for him. With 18 tackles, the four sacks, two passes defensed and the forced fumble on the season, this showing is definitely looking like an outlier, but this performance also shouldn't be glossed over either.
Seahawks' Uchenna Nwosu, Texans' Danielle Hunter, Lions' Aidan Hutchinson, Buccaneers' Vita Vea and Vikings' Jalen Redmond all had two sacks.
Nwosu had five total tackles along with his sacks on Thursday night. He has seven tackles and two sacks for the season, so this is looking like another outlier performance. Nwosu is still worth an add in some deeper IDP leagues.
Hunter had four tackles along with his sacks this week. He has 12 tackles and four sacks on the season, along with a forced fumble and fumble recovery. Hunter is a good IDP pass rusher, and should be utilized in a good amount of leagues as a result.
Hutchinson had four tackles and a forced fumble on Sunday. He has a sack in three straight games (four overall), along with two forced fumbles and eight tackles for the season. Hutchinson has settled in quickly after his injury last season and is looking like a top-end IDP pass rusher again.
Vea had three total tackles on Sunday - he has 10 now for the season, along with the two sacks and a fumble recovery. Vea is an underrated fantasy option, but probably only worth IDP starts in deeper leagues.
Redmond finished with three tackles on Sunday. He has 13 on the season, along with three sacks and a forced fumble. Redmond is a sneaky good IDP option, especially in deeper setups.
Standout Performances with Takeaways
Rams' Kam Curl had nine total tackles on Sunday, along with two interceptions and three passes defensed. He has 35 tackles, a sack, and the two picks and three passes defensed on the season, showing he's a very good weekly IDP option.
Jaguars' Devin Lloyd had eight tackles on Sunday. He also picked off two passes. Lloyd has 23 tackles, a fumble recovery, three interceptions and three passes defensed on the season, and that big-play ability is making him a strong weekly option.
Bears' Kevin Byard III had seven tackles and two interceptions on Sunday. He has 23 tackles, three picks and three passes defensed on the season, showing he's another pretty good weekly IDP option.
Seahawks' Ernest Jones IV had a half sack among his eight total tackles. He also picked off a pass. Jones has two picks, three passes defensed, the half sack and 33 total tackles for the year, which shows his IDP value, and weekly starting upside.
Commanders' Mike Sainristil finished with seven tackles and an interception on Sunday. He has 20 tackles, but no other splash plays, on the season, so this looks like a bit of an outlier.
Steelers' DeShon Elliott had a sack among his six tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception on Sunday. He was playing in just his second game, and has six tackles in each contest, showing some weekly starting upside in fantasy leagues.
Steelers' T.J. Watt had a sack among his five tackles and also picked off a pass on Sunday. Watt is a huge name, and he's really been great over the past two weeks. He has 19 tackles so far, showing he's more than just a sack specialist, and is worthy of IDP deployment.
49ers' Fred Warner had eight tackles and a forced fumble on Sunday. He has 38 tackles and two forced fumbles now for the season, plus a fumble recovery and three passes defensed. Add that all up and you have a really good weekly IDP option.
Eagles' Zack Baun had a sack among his eight tackles, plus a forced fumble, on Sunday. He has 30 tackles and the sack for the season, and also picked off a pass last week. Baun remains a really good weekly IDP option, so get him in those lineups.
Jaguars' Foyesade Oluokun had seven tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on Sunday. He has 30 tackles, a sack, two forced fumbles, two passes defensed and a fumble recovery on the year. Oluokun keeps showing why he's a good weekly IDP option.
Rams' Jared Verse had a sack and forced fumble among his six tackles on Sunday. He has a forced fumble in back-to-back weeks, and a sack and six tackles in each contest as well. Verse has 17 tackles overall, but is definitely trending up, and is worth some IDP deployment after what he's done the past two weeks.
