With week 2 of the regular season underway, let's check in on the FantasySP Trade Value Chart to see which players are on the rise or fall.

Those ratings are used in our Trade Analyzer, which is one of our more popular fantasy tools.

Players on the Rise

Among the players on the rise that I want to discuss today are Zay Flowers, Travis Etienne, Harold Fannin, Keon Coleman and Marquise Brown.

Fannin is the biggest riser in that group - he's up 2.5 for his player rating.

Some expected a nice season from the Browns' rookie TE, but behind David Njoku in the pecking order at the position, not many saw Fannin starring right away.

All he did in week 1 was catch seven of his nine targets for 63 yards. Fannin also gained three yards on a rushing attempt.

It helped that the Browns threw 45 passes in week 1, but that might become a weekly occurrence as the team plays catch up. What's working in Fannin's favor is that he played 72% of the team's offensive snaps.

Fannin was a big waiver wire pickup this week, and could become a must-start guy by week 3 if he delivers again in week 2. If you missed him on waivers, I'd suggest trading for him now, because his value is likely to only keep climbing.

Etienne is up 2.4 for his player rating after a big week 1, and after the team traded away Tank Bigsby.

I thought Bigsby was going to eventually lead this backfield, but now it's Etienne's to lose. Etienne rushed for 143 yards on 16 carries, while adding 13 receiving yards on three catches and targets.

He played 61% of the offensive snaps, and now should play even more without Bigsby around. He'll get most of the backfield touches, and although the matchups will toughen up over time, I'd be a big fan of adding Etienne now - he could be trending toward a high-end fantasy finish at RB.

Brown got a 2.1 increase to his player rating after a good showing in week 1, and some roster news around him.

Rashee Rice was already suspended for six games, but now Xavier Worthy (who saw his player rating drop three points) is out injured. That leaves Brown and the aging Travis Kelce to lead the passing game for KC.

Brown had 99 yards on 10 grabs and 16 targets in week 1. He might not have that many grabs and targets every week, but he's a top-30 fantasy wideout for me this week, and that might remain until Worthy or Rice return.

If you missed Brown on the waiver wire, see what it would take to trade for him. Trade from a position of depth and get some short-term help.

Coleman is up 1.8 on his player rating as well 2 nears.

He caught eight of his 11 targets for 112 yards and a score in week 1. Coleman played 88% of the team's offensive snaps and might be at the start of his breakout season.

Do what you can to add Coleman before he solidifies himself as a good fantasy option.

Flowers is up 1.4 on his player rating.

He went for 143 yards and a score across seven catches and nine targets in week 1. Flowers also gained eight yards on two rushing attempts.

Flowers played 90% of the team's snaps, and isn't going anywhere. Get him on your team before he turns in another big game and really ups his fantasy value.

Players Trending Down

Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, A.J. Brown, Kenneth Walker, George Kittle and Kaleb Johnson are some big-name fantasy players dropping in their player ratings.

Kittle is the biggest dropper of that group - his player rating is down 4.1.

Obviously, Kittle is way down after hitting the injured reserve list, meaning he's out at least four weeks.

He still had 25 yards and a score on four catches and targets before leaving in week 1. It's a shame Kittle is out, because I had him pegged as a top-end fantasy tight end, and he was off to a strong start.

Hopefully you have an IR spot to utilize, otherwise you have to stash Kittle on your bench for at least a month. That's a tough pill for fantasy owners to swallow, and really handcuffs teams at TE.

Luckily, there were some good waiver options at tight end after week 1, and now you can mix-and-match at the position until Kittle is back.

He still has good fantasy value, so selling Kittle isn't the worst idea. You get immediate help, and don't have to worry about his health later in the season.

I love the idea of buying low on Kittle, especially if you came into the season streaming at tight end. Make sure you can afford to stash him for several weeks. Once he's back though, he'll be a major boost to your fantasy team.

Johnson saw his player rating drop 2.2 after a super underwhelming NFL debut.

He played a whopping two offensive snaps in week 1. Johnson got a rushing attempt, and went backward two yards.

Johnson was outsnapped at RB by teammates Kenneth Gainwell and Jaylen Warren. It could be an uphill climb for Johnson to get playing time and touches this season.

His player rating could really nosedive if he doesn't do much in week 2 again. There's probably not a huge trade market for him, but maybe a Steelers' fan, or big believer in Johnson would be willing to take the risk.

Don't expect much back, but maybe you get a better fantasy option for the time being. I'd keep stashing Johnson in deeper leagues, but he'll be droppable in all standard leagues if he delivers another similar performance in week 2.

Walker is down 2.1 after an underwhelming week 1, when he was outproduced by backup Zach Charbonnet.

Walker had 20 rushing yards on 10 attempts, and caught all three of his targets for four yards. He played 21 snaps, which was nine less than Charbonnet.

I'd be extremely worried if I rostered Walker. Another similar showing this week will likely see him get dropped going into week 3. I'd look to sell him before his value completely falls off the table - there's plenty of people who are looking to buy him low too.

Brown's player rating is down 1.2.

He was held to one catch and target in week 1. Brown went for eight yards on that grab.

Philly's looked out of whack in general in week 1, but Brown's performance was probably the most surprising. After being an early draft pick, fantasy owners are wondering if it's time to bail, or buy low on him.

I see him bouncing back, but being inconsistent this season. So, I'd look to trade him after a bounceback performance. Maybe that comes this week, then you can sell him before week 3. I've never been too high on him, so I'm more inclined to bail when the time is right.

Gibbs and St. Brown each saw their player ratings drop a point after week 1.

Detroit's offense struggled against Green Bay, but maybe that was more a product of the Packers' defense, after they also shut down the Commanders

Gibbs rushed for just 19 yards on nine attempts. David Montgomery got two more carries, and gained six more yards.

Gibbs was a good PPR fantasy asset with his 10 catches for 31 yards across 10 targets. That won't happen every week though.

St. Brown was limited to 45 yards on four catches and six targets in week 1.

Week 2 could be telling for the Lions' offense. We'll see if the stars struggled in week 1 against a good defense, or because the offense is really going to take a step back.

It's a time to buy low on both guys, I think. Their values could be right back up next week.
