14-Team PPR Fantasy Football Mock Draft from 7th Position | Puka Nacua and Chase Brown are the Top Picks
Morgan conducts his sixth fantasy football draft of the year, selecting seventh in a 14-team PPR setup.
It's time for another fantasy football mock draft!
Today, we'll expand to a 14-team PPR setup. I'll have the seventh pick. The roster setup will be: one quarterback, two running backs, three wide receivers, one tight end and one flex spot, with eight bench spots.

Round 1 - Puka Nacua
The top-end fantasy assets are off the board, so I went with the guy who has the highest fantasy ceiling, and that's Nacua.
He should star for the Rams' offense, even with the addition of Davante Adams. It's a bit of a risky pick because of Matthew Stafford's injury, but I see Nacua starring with any quarterback.
Round 2 - Chase Brown
In deeper setups, you never want to wait on running backs too long, so I got Brown here in the second.
He was really good in the Bengals' offense in 2024, and I see even more from him in 2025. Brown is a well-rounded back, so he's a great PPR asset.
Round 3 - Joe Burrow
I usually don't target quarterbacks early, but I didn't love the value of anyone else here, so I landed Burrow.
He's a great bet to be at least a top-five fantasy finisher at the position, and in a deeper setup, getting a weekly starter at the position is always a plus. I can skip the position the rest of the way if I want now.
Round 4 - Courtland Sutton
I could have gone a few different ways here, but I landed on Sutton.
He's the Broncos' clear top target in the passing game, and I think he's a good value pick at this point of the draft. He's a great No. 2 option behind Nacua.
Round 5 - Aaron Jones
I actually debated taking Jones in the fourth, so I'm glad I passed, because drafting him here is a much more comfortable option.
He'll be the workhorse in the Vikings' backfield, and like Brown, is a well-rounded PPR asset. My running back starters are weekly starters, so it's already a position of strength.
Round 6 - Jerry Jeudy
I didn't like a ton of players near this pick, so I went with the top guy available in Jeudy.
He'll be the top target in the Browns' passing game. The team's quarterback situation is murky, but I think Jeudy is going to put up solid numbers and be a really good No. 3 wideout or top flex option for me.
Round 7 - David Njoku
The other big option in the Browns' passing game is Njoku, and he serves as my top tight end for this mock.
He has some injury concerns, so I'll be drafting another tight end, but I think Njoku is a great value pick here, and could easily outproduce this draft slot.
Round 8 - Tucker Kraft
I didn't plan on getting my backup tight end a round after I got Njoku, but I like Kraft's value and he has higher upside than anyone else I could get at the position.
He'll be a good weekly flex option, and if Njoku flops, Kraft should help me cover the TE spot.
Round 9 - Tank Bigsby
I've probably avoided running backs for too long, so I decided on Bigsby here.
He might not serve as the starting back with Travis Etienne around, but I think Bigsby will still be pretty involved offensively for the Jaguars. If he turns out to be the starter, then this will be a great value pick.
Round 10 - Tyler Allgeier
I need more backs, and Allgeier should have a noticeable role despite being a backup, so he's my pick in round 10.
Even with Bijan Robinson around, Allgeier has flex starting upside some weeks. If Robinson were ever to get dinged up, then Allgeier would be a great streaming option. Most importantly, he gives me some depth at RB.
Round 11 - Luther Burden
I didn't feel like reaching on anyone here, so I chose a high-upside guy instead in Burden.
He should start in time for the Bears, and could maybe click with Caleb Williams right away. There's a lot of pass catchers in Chicago to contend with, but Burden is just a secondary wideout for me, so I'll only maybe need to start him a couple times.
Round 12 - Kyle Williams
A similar high-upside type of pick here in round 12 with Williams.
In time, I see him starting for the Pats, and maybe becoming a big part of the team's offense. Again, he's just a depth option to me, but his upside is enough to stash him for several weeks at least.
Round 13 - Tua Tagovailoa
A lot of quarterbacks have been taken, and I wanted to protect myself in case Burrow got hurt, so I drafted Tua here.
He won't start unless Burrow is on his bye or hurt, but could turn into a little trade chip if he is playing well this season.
Round 14 - Will Shipley
Might as well take some swings on top backup running backs with my final picks, and Shipley is a great one.
He could turn into a big player if Saquon Barkley were ever to miss time. I think it's possible that Shipley carves out a little role anyways.
Round 15 - Raheem Mostert
Mostert is likely going to be the No. 2 back for the Raiders behind Ashton Jeanty.
I also think Mostert is involved a bit offensively even in his backup role. A very low-risk pick, like most of these guys being drafted this late.
Round 16 - Mason Taylor
I didn't expect to land three tight ends for this mock, but he offered the most upside of any position player available, so I went with Taylor.
He's already the team's starter, and if he breaks out, I have a great trade chip to work with.
Final Thoughts
Usually I'm not a big fan of my final results with these larger mock drafts, but today, I'm really pleased with my final result.
I got a B grade and rank fifth among the 14 teams.
I'm set at QB with Burrow, and have a capable backup in Tagovailoa. I could always stream if Burrow goes down for the season. I thought I was going to regret taking Burrow early, but I'm happy I got him because the rest of my lineup didn't suffer too much.
I really like the Brown and Jones starting combo at running back. They will start every week they are active for, and I'd feel good about them both in most matchups.
My depth backs (Bigsby, Allgeier, Shipley and Mostert) don't have a ton of fantasy value right now, but at least Bigsby and Allgeier should be involved enough to be flex options throughout the season. Those guys would all take on larger roles if the starter ahead of them got injured, so any of those could become really good flex options if that happens.
I loaded up early on wideouts with Nacua, Sutton and Jeudy, and I think that trio should be startable all season. If one of them is out for an extended period, I think that's where my fantasy season could be derailed.
Burden and Williams are more high-upside picks than guys who could help early in the season. I might need to swing a trade if one of my top wideouts got hurt early.
Njoku, Kraft and Taylor are a fun trio of tight ends. Njoku and Kraft will likely start most weeks for me, and Taylor has the upside to become a starting option. I'd probably look to trade from this position if I needed reinforcements at running back or wide receiver.
Overall, I'm really pleased with how this mock draft turned out, and cannot wait to give it another go again before the season!
