Players to Add

Jaxson Hayes - Los Angeles Lakers

Hayes is rostered in 12% of fantasy leagues right now. He's been under 10% for much of the past month.

Hayes has been on the rise over the past three games, combining for 42 points, 21 rebounds, three assists, four steals and 11 blocks in those contests.

Deandre Ayton is still around, which has left Hayes in a reserve role, but he's still delivered better of late. At this juncture of the season, it's all about rostering/playing the best fantasy assets. Hayes is a deep-league asset tonight with Ayton expected to play - if Ayton is out, then Hayes could be streamed in some standard leagues.

Kyle Filipowski - Utah Jazz

Filipowski is back up to 82% rostered. He was around 74% just a couple days ago.

Filipowski is taking advantage of available minutes with several Utah big men out for the season. After a poor showing a week ago, he's since combined for 51 points, 17 rebounds, eight assists and two steals in two games.

There's a ton of fantasy value in those totals, which is why he's a great add for the day, and maybe the rest of the season. At least consider streaming him for his next game, and then just keep rostering him if he keeps delivering.

Collin Sexton - Chicago Bulls

Sexton is rostered in 61% of leagues right now. He sat near 40% a week ago.

He continues to produce big numbers off the bench. Sexton has averaged 22.3 points, 2.8 assists, 2.3 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 0.3 blocks over his past four contests.

Despite him coming off the bench, Sexton is simply doing too much to ignore. He's a very good deep-league fantasy asset, and could be a standard league streaming option for as long as he's in this hot stretch.

Keep a close eye on him though, as him coming off the bench makes him a riskier fantasy asset.

Cedric Coward - Memphis Grizzlies

Coward is owned in 46% of fantasy leagues, which is up over 4% from yesterday.

Coward's numbers have dipped a bit of late, but he delivered big in his last game. In 24 minutes, he tallied 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists and steals.

He'd been at 10, 12 and 15 points over the three games before that, while playing a bit more. Coward can stuff the stat sheet, but his last contest was a bit of an outlier.

I still like the idea of adding him in a bunch of leagues. I like him a lot in deeper leagues and definitely would be streaming him for at least his next game. If he keeps delivering, he could work back into standard leagues, where he's been an asset most of the season.

With all the injuries Memphis is dealing with, we'll see if Coward can keep delivering. Keep tabs on him and add/drop him the rest of the way as his numbers go up and down.

Grayson Allen - Phoenix Suns

Allen is rostered in 79% of leagues right now. He was at 66% about a week ago.

He's coming off the bench of late, but still is delivering enough to be a fantasy asset in most leagues. Allen has especially excelled over his past two games, tallying 40 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three steals over about 44 minutes.

He's had a pretty good fantasy season, and is worth utilizing in all deeper leagues, and a handful of standard leagues too. Give him some consideration, at least for his next game, and maybe the rest of the season if he keeps delivering.

Players to Drop

Kevin Porter Jr. - Milwaukee Bucks

Porter is down to 79% owned right now. He'd been owned in most leagues before sitting out with a knee injury.

He's listed as day-to-day with that injury, but has missed six straight games, and seven of the past eight (and 11 of the past 14). With the Bucks eliminated, there's no reason to bring Porter back, so he's droppable.

I'd keep rostering him in some deeper leagues, but let him go in standard leagues. If you have IR spots to stash him in, then that's fine to do if you want to hold out hope on him. I don't see him returning, so you could use that spot for a player with a chance to play the rest of the way.

Cameron Johnson - Denver Nuggets

Johnson sits near 67% owned right now. He was over 80% a week ago.

He has battled injuries on and off all season, but he's being dropped after what he did in his last contest. Johnson had just six points, three assists and one rebound, steal and block over 19 minutes.

He was hurt in that game, which clouds his availability going forward. If there's a waiver wire/streaming option out there that you really like, then moving on from Johnson makes a lot of sense.

Keep tabs on him, but he's maybe a better deep-league asset, even if active/healthy the rest of the way.

Christian Braun - Denver Nuggets

Braun is owned in 76% of fantasy leagues right now. He was near 90% at this time a week ago.

He too has battled injuries this year. Braun has played of late, but now isn't producing a bunch.

Braun is averaging 11.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.2 blocks over 29 minutes a contest in his past six appearances. That's simply not enough for standard league utilization in a lot of cases.

Keep rostering Braun in deeper leagues, but there's probably some better standard league options out there right now. Don't give up on him for good, but until he starts delivering more, I like him more in deeper leagues.

Quentin Grimes - Philadelphia 76ers

Grimes is rostered in 67% of leagues, which is down from over 85% last week.

He too is coming off a weak showing. Grimes moved to the bench and played 28 minutes, which was one of his lower marks in the past several weeks. It makes sense as Philly is as healthy as it's been in a while.

Grimes only had eight points, three assists and one rebound and steal in his last game. That's just not enough for standard league utilization.

He can be utilized in some deeper leagues, but with Philly back to full strength, Grimes probably isn't the best standard league asset the rest of the season.

Collin Gillespie - Phoenix Suns

Gillespie sits at 78% rostered right now. He's down about 4% from yesterday, and had been over 80% for much of the past month.

Gillespie has been a solid fantasy asset most of the season. His last game was a dud though.

In 27 minutes, he failed to score across eight shot attempts. Gillespie had three rebounds, seven assists and one steal and block to salvage a terrible fantasy outing at least.

He's capable of much more, but it's fair to drop him in a bunch of leagues after his last outing. I'm not ready to completely bail on him, but again, in a critical juncture of the fantasy season, I get dropping him.

Watch his gamelogs and be ready to add him back if he bounces back. Gillespie has been a nice asset, and his last showing might have just been an outlier.
