These four hitters are producing at the plate and could help fantasy managers in need of some offensive reinforcements.

Let's keep looking into fantasy baseball waiver wire options by discussing some hitters.

Here's the starting pitcher streaming article for Monday. Check back later for an article on weekly fantasy projections!

Fantasy baseball waiver wire options can be found all season on FantasySP! The Fantasy Sports Assistant now can answer questions you have after doing team breakdowns or waiver wire analysis!

Bryson Stott - Philadelphia Phillies

Stott has been added in 3.73% of fantasy baseball leagues so far today. That brings his overall mark to 68.75%.

He has three multi-hit games over his past four contests, and four multi-hit efforts over his past six. Stott has nine hits, including four doubles, over those six games, plus three RBIs and stolen bases, four runs scored and seven walks. Stott has not struck out in that span.

The infielder is now hitting .263 for the season, while getting on base at a .336 clip over 113 games and 440 plate appearances. Stott has 25 doubles, eight home runs and six triples among his 103 total hits, plus 53 RBIs, 51 runs scored, 22 stolen bases, 42 walks and 75 strikeouts.

I said infielder in the last paragraph because he recently moved from second base to third base to make room for Luis Arraez after the Phillies traded for him. Stott has caught fire at the plate since making the switch, and the additional position eligibility could boost his fantasy value even more as the season moves along.

Stott is worth roster spots/utilization in all deeper leagues at this point - ride with him until his bat cools way off. He might even stick in all deeper leagues for the rest of the season. Stott is a standard league option for as long as he's hitting well too, so consider adding him, especially if you need infield help.

Andruw Monasterio - Boston Red Sox

Monasterio is up to 38.39% rostered after being scooped up in 3.73% of leagues today.

He went hitless on Sunday, but had a 10-game hitting streak before that. In that stretch, Monasterio had 15 hits, including four doubles and a homer. He added 13 RBIs, seven runs scored, three walks and a stolen base, while striking out seven times.

He's got a .268 average and .328 OBP over 77 contests and 248 plate appearances for the season now. Monasterio has 21 doubles, six homers and a triple among his 60 total hits, plus 31 RBIs, 29 runs scored, three stolen bases, 19 walks and 52 strikeouts.

Monasterio should be eligible at several positions, which ups his fantasy value a bit. He's a better deep-league fantasy asset right now, but if he keeps hitting, he could sneak into some standard leagues in time.

Carson Benge - New York Mets

Benge is owned in 66.07% of leagues right now. He was at 57.87% back on August 5.

Benge has seven hits over his past three games played. He has a triple among the hits, plus four RBIs, three runs scored, a walk and stolen base and two strikeouts.

Benge now owns a .272 average and .332 OBP across his rookie season, which has spanned 113 games and 467 plate appearances. He has 116 total hits, including 15 doubles, 13 home runs and three triples. Benge has 47 RBIs, 61 runs scored, 18 stolen bases, 34 walks and 102 strikeouts.

He strikes out a lot, but the outfielder is producing pretty well otherwise. He's a good deep-league fantasy asset most of the time, and in hotter stretches, can be streamed and tried in standard leagues. Just be watching his numbers so you can move off him if/when he cools off again.

Jac Caglianone - Kansas City Royals

Caglianone has risen 5.48% already today, and is now rostered in 79.02% of leagues overall.

He has at least one hit in all eight games he's played so far this month. Across 32 plate appearances, Caglianone has 13 hits, including four doubles and three home runs, plus nine RBIs, four runs scored, a stolen base and three strikeouts. He popped two doubles and homers during a four-hit game on Saturday.

He's played 110 games and 426 plate appearances in his second big league season, and now owns a .264 average and .317 OBP. Caglianone has 20 homers, 21 doubles and two triples among his 104 total knocks, plus 49 RBIs, 51 runs scored, 27 walks, four stolen bases and 113 strikeouts.

The first baseman/right fielder is another good deep-league fantasy asset, but can be utilized in standard leagues as he's producing well at the plate. He's delivering now, so if you need a little extra hitting, consider adding Caglianone if he's still available in your league.
