Week 13 Black Friday DFS Lineup: Jalen Hurts, A.J. Brown, Caleb Williams and More
Morgan puts together a DFS lineup for the Friday game in week 13.
After going over some fantasy football start decisions involving Eagles and Bears, let's now go over a DFS lineup for the NFL game on Black Friday.
We will have a $50,000 budget for a six-player lineup. There's a captain (scoring 1.5 times more, but also costing 1.5 times more) and five flex spots.
Let's see what we can put together!

Captain - Dallas Goedert ($7,800)
I usually try to find good matchups and affordable players for the captain spot, and Goedert fit the mold for this lineup.
He has a favorable matchup coming against the Bears, and is a cheaper option, so his salary multiplied by 1.5 doesn't cripple my lineup.
Goedert is averaging 12.1 fantasy points per game, and I expect him to score over that after the multiplier.
Flex - Jalen Hurts ($11,600)
I see Hurts as the best fantasy option in this game, so he was going to get in my lineup no matter what. He just cost too much to take as the captain.
He's averaging 21.6 fantasy points per game so far this season. Hurts' matchup against the Bears is pretty average, so I expect him to be around that average, at least.
If Hurts doesn't lose any rushing scores, he should be set up for a big fantasy day.
Flex - A.J. Brown ($9,600)
Brown is back as the top pass catcher for the Eagles, so he's a safer DFS pick nowadays.
He's still averaging just 13.6 fantasy points per game this season, but has 11.9 and 28 over the past two weeks.
In a slightly above-average test against the Bears, I see Brown blowing past his season average - if he can get to 20 fantasy points, I'd be thrilled.
Flex - D'Andre Swift ($6,600)
Swift is coming off a down fantasy showing, and most fantasy owners want to bail on him. It makes him much cheaper this week, so I'm going to use that to my advantage and include him in my lineup.
He's averaging 14.5 fantasy points per game for the season. Swift scored just 2.9 points last week, and had nine the week before that.
His matchup is pretty average, so I like him to get back on track and post a score near his season average. Even if it's a bit lower, I like him at this reduced salary.
Flex - Caleb Williams ($10,800)
The options for good fantasy assets in this game is running thin, so I'm taking one big final swing here with Williams.
He's averaging 19.9 fantasy points per game this season, and had 22.7 last week. Williams has been up and down over the past three weeks, but in an average test, I see him doing enough to outscore anyone else from this game.
I just have to hope he avoids turnovers and the Bears' offense can at least put up a healthy amount of yards and score a couple touchdowns.
Flex - Bears DST ($3,600)
I didn't have much salary left after taking Williams, and the options were not great as a result. I settled on the Bears DST over Jahan Dotson, Olamide Zaccheaus, Cole Kmet, Tank Bigsby and others.
Chicago's DST at least gives me a decent chance for fantasy points, even though I don't love its matchup. The DST is averaging 6.7 fantasy points per game, and has tallied six, five, seven and five over the past four weeks.
If I get something in that range, I'd be happy. It'll likely be more than any other lineup option left would have scored, unless someone scores a touchdown or two.
Final Thoughts
This is a unique DFS lineup in my eyes, but I like the final look of things.
I have two big-time fantasy scores likely coming with Hurts and Williams. Brown is also capable of a big score. If those three deliver, I like my chances with this lineup.
Goedert and Swift are kind of wild card picks. I'd love it if Goedert delivered a big game - if he ends up being the top Eagles' fantasy scorer, my lineup has top-end potential. As long as Swift outscores Kyle Monangai, I like my chances with this lineup.
The Bears DST was basically a throw in, so anything positive I get from them I'll take.
I obviously left some good fantasy assets on the board. Big games from Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, Rome Odunze or D.J. Moore could sink my lineup's chances, but I feel more confident about the group I've assembled, so we'll see how it pans out.
