Overview and Review
OwnersBox is a straightforward DFS app in the sense that they do not offer things like prop bets or fantasy drafts. However, their DFS games are different from every other app we tried and a ton of fun. They offer two games which are SuperFlexDFS and Lightning Lineups. Both are excellent, offer significant paydays, and offer something different for their players which we will get into soon. This is a smooth-running platform both on their online site and in their app.
They offer DFS games for the four major sports. This means you can build lineups for NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL slates. With that said, these are hardly DFS games at all as they are actually weekly fantasy sports. They launched OwnersBox in 2020 and were the first ever weekly fantasy platform based in Ontario, Canada. Currently, OwnersBox is available in all but 14 states.
Now let’s get into their games. The first being SuperFlexDFS. SuperFlexDFS is a salary cap-based lineup like most DFS sites where you are given a salary cap, players are given a dollar value, and you build your team accordingly while staying under the salary cap. The difference here is the lineups are SuperFlex which means you have the option of putting two quarterbacks in your lineup. This of course changes your strategy significantly. QBs have the highest-scoring upside but also cost the most money so you have to navigate the salary cap while perhaps finding cheaper options at other positions. There are a lot of SuperFlex truthers in the fantasy community and that crowd is only getting bigger each year.
The other game they offer and the one we are really excited to talk about is Lightning Lineups. The motto for this game is “Spin, Pick, Win.” In this game, they will give you three sets of lineups with three players each. If you don’t like the lineups you just click the Lightning Lineups button to spin new lineups. You have the option of spinning as many times as you want until you are satisfied with a lineup that you think will win you some money. Once you pick your lineup you can continue to add more lineups to increase your winnings. You also get to decide how much money you want to bet after your lineups are set. So if you really love a lineup, you can bet more money to win more money. This game is like nothing else we’ve seen on any other app and is truly what makes OwnersBox so much different from any other DFS site.

Signing up is very simple. All you need is an email address that you use to create a username and password then you can start playing. You can do this both at OwnersBox.com or on their mobile app. You can use any major credit or debit card to deposit with a minimum deposit of $10 and a maximum deposit of $1,000. Final Review
With multiple game options with great twists and big paydays, we loved our experience with OwnersBox. They offer huge bonuses and both the site and app run smoothly. They may not offer a wide amount of options as some sites do, nevertheless, we found it perfect for true DFS players who don’t want to be bothered with other distractions on their platform. The weekly format also adds a new dimension of excitement because it keeps you engaged for a whole week rather than just one night.
