Overview and Review
Underdog Fantasy has many features. Most notably prop bets and fantasy drafts both season-long and best ball among other things. They offer more in one place than any other prominent site or app you will find. It is a ton of fun and keeps you invested in all your sports all year long with NFL Football being the centerpiece of Underdog. It’s what got it off the ground and fantasy football players love what they have to offer.
The Pick ‘Em props that we feature here on our site every week (see example here) are standard over/under format. They give you statistical options to choose from and you decide if the player’s performance will be Higher or Lower than the designated line. They offer this for every major sport every day of the year. You can choose individual bets or parlay them to win big money. Along with the Pick ‘Em props, you can do Rival props which is the same concept except you are picking between two players. So you have to decide which player will perform better and they add a statistical point spread to make it tougher.
They also offer fantasy drafts both season-long, daily, and best ball. While the season-long drafts are excellent the best ball drafts are the biggest draw to this app and what separates it from everything else. They offer paid best ball drafts all year long and for every sport. These are drafts you need to pay for and can win money at the end of the season. They also have daily drafts for you to play as well, which is essentially a new and fun twist of DFS.
However, what they offer fantasy players in the preseason is second to none. This applies to whatever sport you prefer, but for us our main focus is football. All summer you can pay a few dollars and do dozens and dozens of best ball drafts against real people paying real money. Not only is it fun it’s the best way to prep for your big drafts later in the summer. Then you almost forget about all these drafts and at the end of the fantasy season, you have a nice little chunk of money waiting for you which is always nice.
Because you have to pay for these best ball drafts, Underdog also offers Paid ADP which is an incredible tool for fantasy owners. Most sites base their ADP off of mock drafts which is fine, but people can experiment more with them because there is nothing to win or lose. When you base your ADP off of paid best ball drafts people take them more seriously because there is real money involved and real money to be won. Even in lower-cost drafts, the fact that there are any real stakes changes the dynamic of the draft and people take them more seriously, therefore, making them a better gauge of what players will actually be doing when it comes to your season-long drafts.
