Underdog Fantasy NBA Basketball Pick 'Em Props (02/07): LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Nikola Jokic & More!

Mark Morales-Smith Feb 7th 7:57 AM EST.

Underdog is back with their Pick ‘Em bets for the NBA season. We will be going over the best bets for tonight and help give you the edge to make some money tonight and every week. This should be a fun slate of games so let’s take advantage of some great odds.

Top Underdog Fantasy NBA Props

LeBron James, Los Angeles Lakers (32.5 Points)

All eyes will be on King James tonight as he attempts to break Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s nearly 40-year-old record and become the league’s all-time leading scorer. He will break the record in fewer games and become the most consistent and efficient scorer to ever live. It’s truly one of the greatest records in sports. Currently, he sits 36 points away from passing Kareem and becoming the NBA’s all-time point leader. That brings us to this line set at 32.5 points. If we believe he will break the record tonight, then obviously we have to go with the over here.

The Thunder currently sit 20th in the league in points allowed, allowing 116.4 points per game. That number jumps up over 117 points on the road and has hit 124.7 points over their past three games. Only the Rockets and Nets have given up more in their past three games. The King shouldn’t have a hard time scoring points in this one.

LeBron is well aware of the historical significance of this record and how much people paid to come to see him. We believe he’s going to go for it. Break the record and get the distraction out of the way so this team can get back to trying to get into the play-in tournament. It wouldn’t be a shock to see James score 30 tonight. We all know he’s capable of scoring at will but is a pass-first player as he also sits fourth all-time in assists. However, tonight is his night and he’s going to fill it up and capture his record.

The Pick: Higher 32.5 Points

Anthony Davis, Los Angeles Lakers (43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists)

Davis has returned and picked up right where he left off. When he’s healthy this guy is a monster to try to deal with. He’s posted more than 30 points and 14 assists in each of his last two games and played more than 35 minutes in both so a minutes restriction should no longer be of concern. In games when he’s played at least 20 minutes he has grabbed double-digit rebounds in 17 of his last 18. During that same span, he scored at least 20 points in 17 out of 18 and 30 points 11 times. Combine that with a handful of assists a game and he’s usually on track to hit this mark just like he has in his past two games. The Thunder shouldn’t put up much resistance either. They are 20th in points allowed per game, 15th in assists allowed, and dead last at 30th in rebounds allowed. AD should have a field day on the boards.

The Pick: Lower 43.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets (22.5 Rebounds + Assists)

It doesn’t take much for Jokic to hit this number considering he’s averaging a triple-double this season. He’s always hovering right around this mark even on off nights. This is a number he has hit in his last three and a bar he cleared against the Timberwolves just six games ago. He will do the same tonight. The reigning MVP is so consistent that he has hit double-digit rebounds and assists in nine of his last 11 and in the two games he missed he had nine assists in both. The matchup is also favorable as the Wolves are 14th in assists allowed per game and all the way down at 27th in rebounds. Between his track record, the matchup, and the fact we just saw him do it, you can’t bet against Jokic in this one.

The Pick: Higher 22.5 Rebounds + Assists

CJ McCollum, New Orleans Pelicans (33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists)

Now it’s time for our downer pick and we are targeting McCollum. This number is just too big to not bet against CJ here. He has failed to hit this mark in his last four and his average number for this combo stat on the season is 32.4. Also, one of the things you can look at with this number is that he hasn’t hit it since Brandon Ingram started playing full minutes again since returning from injury. This is an above-average matchup against the Hawks, but we still don’t see McCollum getting there.

The Pick: Lower 33.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
