Today has turned out to be a big transaction day in the NBA, and I have one more set of transactions to go over with you here.

Here are some other transaction-related stories we've published so far this week: Wednesday trade and signings, more signings, Kawhi Leonard trade, LeBron James' future, early signings and other trades.

Lakers Overhaul Roster

After learning that LeBron wouldn't be returning to Los Angeles, the Lakers were busy on Wednesday overhauling their roster.

After trading for Walker Kessler earlier in the day, three different free agent signings were announced.

Forward/center Sandro Mamukelashvili signed a four-year deal worth $52 million - that includes a player option in the fourth season. Guard Quentin Grimes is headed to LA on a four-year pact worth $60 million. The Lakers also are expected to add guard Collin Sexton on a two-year deal worth $19 million - it includes a player option in year two.

The Lakers have completely changed the outlook of their team in just one day, and through one trade and three signings.

Mamukelashvili has a chance to start for LA at power forward, while Kessler holds down the center spot. Mamukelashvili is a backup center option as well, and even if he comes off the bench, he could have fantasy relevance.

Mamukelashvili made a name for himself with Toronto last season. He started 13 of the 80 games he appeared in and averaged 11.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks over 21.9 minutes a contest.

Even if he's only playing that many minutes in LA, Mamukelashvili could be a fantasy asset in most leagues. If he starts, or just plays more minutes in general, you should expect even more out of him.

Sexton and Grimes might appear stuck behind Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves on the depth chart, but the Lakers could move those guys around to get Sexton and Grimes on the court at the same time.

Even if Grimes and Sexton are just coming off the bench, adding those two players greatly increases the team's depth, and the overall look of the roster in general.

Jake LaRavia and Jarred Vanderbilt are other notable forward options for the Lakers. Rookie Cameron Carr, Deandre Ayton, Dalton Knecht and Adou Thiero are some other players on the roster, at least for now.

Suddenly, the Lakers went from being a team with two big players (Luka and Reaves) to a pretty well-balanced squad. This team is definitely playoff bound (unless injuries derail things), and it could also make a little playoff push.

I don't think the Lakers have the best roster in the Western Conference, but they will be in the mix to come out of the West, especially if they are healthy for the postseason.

We discussed Mamukelashvili's fantasy outlook a bit, and I wanted to discuss Sexton and Grimes a bit too. Regardless of what role they are playing, each guy should play enough minutes to at least be deep-league fantasy options.

I think both will be standard league options as well, especially if they are starting games. It's a good landing spot for both guys, and it also helps the Lakers in the real world.

This could already be the end of the Lakers' offseason moves, but I wouldn't count out other trades or free agent pickups. We'll cover things if any more notable transactions are made by the team.

Warriors Bring Back Melton

Golden State brought De'Anthony Melton back on a two-year deal worth $11 million. There's a player option in year two.

Melton has played the past two years with Golden State, but only got in 55 combined games. Injuries have held him under 70 games played in six of his eight years as a pro.

He's capable of averaging double-digit points per game, whether that's as a starter or a reserve. Right now, he looks like a reserve guard behind Stephen Curry and Brandin Podziemski. More offseason moves could change things a bit, but I'd expect Melton to be the top guard reserve regardless of other moves.

The Warriors are expected to make a run at LeBron, and have been linked to Anthony Davis and other high-profile players this offseason. Golden State is trying to load up to chase a ring in Curry's final years in the league.

I'm really intrigued to see what moves the Warriors end up making. We will cover the notable transactions when/if they occur, so keep checking back for that.
