Top Fantasy Basketball Streaming Picks for Saturday
Streaming players from three NBA teams with good matchups on Saturday.
Now with more than a full day between us and the trade deadline, the NBA has had a chance to breathe. We won't know the full impact of the moves until the end of the year (or even longer), but after a flurry of player movement and odd rosters being constructed, teams can finally see where they are at and start building their new-look lineups.
So much churn at the bottom-middle of rotations impacts fantasy streaming because those are the guys who populate the fringe of fantasy basketball. Guys like Luke Kennard, Cole Anthony, and Lonzo Ball are just some of the players who have been listed here recently and were traded at the deadline; we have to see how these guys fit in with their new squads before knowing their new fantasy value.
Let's look at streaming players from three NBA teams with good matchups on Saturday. We'll focus on the guys who get on the court and are widely available in fantasy leagues. Most stats are from NBA.com.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Washington Wizards
Washington ranks sixth in pace and has the second-worst defensive rating. Over the long term, maybe no team changed more than the Wizards in terms of the face of the franchise and who they are building around. Trae Young and Anthony Davis likely won't play much (if at all) this season, but Washington is now a shiny new thing (kind of).
The Nets mostly made smaller moves; their teardown happened before this point, aside from possibly flipping Michael Porter Jr. after acquiring him in the offseason. Brooklyn has one of the worst records in the league, and the rest of the season will be more about playing young guys and seeing what they have, meaning the lineup could change multiple times over the final few months.
Guard
The rotation shouldn't change much in Brooklyn due to trades, but they did release Cam Thomas after months of contention, so these guards have more minutes and shots to split. Demin has been the best fantasy player of the group to this point, averaging 10.9 points and 2.6 3-pointers per game. Traore has scoring upside but also plenty of inconsistency; he had 21 points on Thursday but combined for just 28 points in the four previous games.
Powell is just a reserve player who isn't on the fantasy radar, though that could change over the next two months. All three of these guys were first-round picks in 2025 and will surely get long looks.
Forward
Brooklyn acquired Ochai Agbaji and Josh Minott at the deadline, and both could eventually factor in, but they aren't likely to be featured in the rotation right away even if they are active. Williams averaged 11.6 points per game in January, reaching double figures in seven of nine games. He doesn't add much other than scoring, but Williams is a reasonable streamer here. Wolf is another rookie first-round pick getting minutes but not yet producing much; there's some upside as a stretch big man.
Center
Clowney missed a week-plus at the end of January. In his two games since returning, Clowney has scored just six points in 43 minutes, showing his inconsistency around decent scoring (12.7 points, 2 3-pointers per game). Sharpe is a deeper backup who generally isn't on the fantasy radar outside of the deepest leagues.
Denver Nuggets @ Chicago Bulls
Chicago plays at the fifth-fastest pace and has the sixth-worst defensive rating. If Washington changed the most looking into the future, the Bulls may have had the most upheaval right now. A glut of guards now on the team and four of their top six scorers being traded away brings way more questions than it answers; most of those will probably be answered in the offseason.
The Nuggets didn't have much ammunition with which to make moves and had a quiet deadline as a result. Denver's biggest additions will come through getting everyone healthy, as Nikola Jokic and Christian Braun recently returned from long layoffs, but Aaron Gordon is still out for weeks.
Guard
- Christian Braun
- Bruce Brown
Braun only played three games between the middle of November and the beginning of February, and his fantasy ownership is lower than usual as a result. This might be a sneaky time to grab Braun if you need help at guard, though he has scored just 12 total points in the two games he has played since returning. Brown isn't much of a statistical guy, just a role player.
Forward
Hardaway is the best option here, and there are plenty of minutes with Gordon, Peyton Watson, and Cameron Johnson all out (Johnson could return any time but hasn't been verified). Hardaway scored 19 points in 42 minutes on Wednesday against the Knicks in double overtime.
Strawther combined for 26 points in his past two games, but he only scored that much in a two-game stretch once this year previously and doesn't do enough regularly to be on the fantasy radar. Jones is questionable for this one, but he isn't worthy of a spot in your lineup even if he plays.
Center
Valanciunas is just a backup when Jokic is in the lineup. There's fantasy value here in games when Jokic is out, but otherwise, there is a low ceiling.
Orlando Magic vs. Utah Jazz
Add the Jazz as another low-level group who gave themselves a little clarity on how they are building their team. Accumulating assets is great; turning them into a former All Star in Jaren Jackson Jr. is the type of move a non-destination team like Utah has to make if they want major improvements, though there is obvious downside.
The Jazz are our favorite streaming target to this point, playing at the third-fastest pace and holding the worst defensive rating, though that could improve a little with Jackson's arrival.
The Magic made their big deal in the offseason, acquiring Desmond Bane from the Grizzlies in a move that would portend the teardown in Memphis. Orlando has dealt with injuries that haven't allowed their best team to play together often, and getting everyone right will be the most important thing if they want to avoid the play-in.
Guard
Orlando's best guards are owned in most fantasy leagues, not leaving much streaming value here. Both Richardson and Howard play inconsistent minutes and put up inconsistent numbers; you can find better options elsewhere.
Forward
It's the same story at forward, where there have been a few more minutes available with Franz Wagner out, but Wagner is expected to return soon, and these guys aren't on the fantasy radar even when Wagner is absent. da Silva is the best option, but his best stat is his 8.8 points per game, leaving a low floor and ceiling.
Center
Here is where you can really find a good option from the Magic. Carter averages 12 points, 7.3 rebounds, and a little under one steal and one block per game, decent enough work to make him a low-to-mid-level streamer. Wagner doesn't play enough minutes to really accumulate stats, leaving him short of the fantasy benchmark.
