Waiver Wire Adds

Four fantasy basketball players have seen their own percentages jump over 6% today.

The top pickup is Boston's Jordan Walsh. He's up 13.55% and sits at 48.78% overall.

Walsh has started 12 straight games now for Boston. He is averaging 24.8 minutes a night in those games, along with 9 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and steals and 0.8 blocks. He's shooting 62.1% overall and is 45.5% from 3-point land.

He has only scored in double figures three times in that stretch, but they've all come in his past five games. Walsh has scored at least eight points in all those games, and had a 22-point game in there too.

The chance for Walsh to stick in a starting role is there, but the most important thing is that he plays more than half of games. His minutes are up the past couple games, so he's trending up as a fantasy asset.

I think he might be a touch overrated right now, as his own percentage seems high for his fantasy production right now. I think if he sticks at these improved numbers that he'd be closer to 50% then. At this rate, he will be added in some standard leagues if he keeps things up, and I'm not ready to call him anything more than a standard league streamer.

Keep tabs on Walsh in case he keeps things rolling, as then he will transition from standard league streamer to standard league keeper.

New Orleans' Herbert Jones has been added in 13.24% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 62.2%.

We've discussed Jones a few times of late, so we'll keep things a bit shorter with him. He's on the rise after recently returning to the court - he had 17 points, six rebounds, four steals and assists and one block over his 25 minutes played.

If he can stay healthy and on the court, he has legit fantasy value. Jones should be rostered in all deeper leagues at this point, along with some standard leagues. He's worth streaming in standard leagues, and I'd just hold on to him until his role or production drops.

Houston's Aaron Holiday is up 6.65% - he's at 9.76% overall now.

He has played 26 or more minutes in three of the four games the Rockets have played this month. Holiday has 10 or more points in three of those contests, but only a handful of other stats to go along with the points.

He still hasn't started over his 16 games played this season, but if he's playing that many minutes, he has fantasy value. Holiday is averaging 9.1 points, 1.2 assists, 1 rebound, 0.5 steals and 0.2 blocks over 17.1 minutes overall this season, while shooting 45.5% overall and 43.3% from deep.

I like the idea of adding or streaming him in more deeper leagues, at least until his role or production fades. Right now, he's a sneaky good fantasy asset, even if most of his production is coming on just scoring.

I don't see him becoming much more than a deep-league streamer, or a keeper in really deep formats. He just doesn't do enough when on the court to support owning him in more leagues.

Utilize Holiday as a streamer in some deeper leagues while his scoring numbers are up, but otherwise, he's probably not going to be a good fantasy asset most of the season.

Denver's Tim Hardaway Jr. is owned in 23.17% of leagues after a 6.07% boost today.

He has scored in double figures in seven straight games. Hardaway has 16 games in double figures over 23 games overall, so he's a pretty steady fantasy asset on points alone.

Hardaway is averaging 12.2 points, 2 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.1 blocks over 24.9 minutes on the season. He is shooting 46.1% overall and he's 42.5% from deep.

Again, we have a player whose fantasy value comes almost all from scoring. He's playing enough and is in a good groove, plus has done it for longer, so it's easy to see why he's more rostered than Holiday.

Give Hardaway an add and hold him in deep fantasy setups. He's also a pretty good streamer across more deeper leagues. I don't see him ever getting to standard league ownership, especially if Denver stays pretty healthy.

There's several other players who are up 3% or more today.

Cameron Johnson is another Denver player on the rise. He is up 5.26% and sits at 69.51% overall now.

Sacramento's Maxime Raynaud is owned in 53.05% of leagues after a 5.13% boost today.

Milwaukee's Kyle Kuzma has been added in 4.75% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 43.29%. Houston's Steven Adams is rostered in 27.44% of leagues after a 4.12% increase.

Boston's Neemias Queta is up 3.82% and sits at 76.22% overall now. Portland's Toumani Camara has been added in 3.07% of leagues and is owned in 75.61% overall now.

Drop Candidates

Six players have been dropped in 5% of leagues or more. They all played on Wednesday, which signals that they were only streaming options.

Those players are: Phoenix's Royce O'Neale and Grayson Allen, Los Angeles Lakers' Rui Hachimura and San Antonio's Keldon Johnson, Julian Champagnie and Luke Kornet.

Most of the other players on the most-dropped list are not players from the four teams who played on Wednesday.

Houston's Tari Eason is down 4.9% and sits at 30% overall now. He's dealing with an oblique strain, and has been over for about a month now. Eason had a 4-6 timeline to return, so he should still be back sometime in December, but likely not anytime soon yet.

He needs to be tracked, as he's a solid fantasy asset when healthy. As he nears a return, you can start adding him in deeper leagues, and maybe eventually in standard leagues once he returns and gets back in the swing of things.

Orlando's Tristan da Silva has been let go in 4.3% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 20%.

He played more in the team's last game, which was expected with Franz Wagner now out with an injury. Da Silva had 11 points, seven boards and two assists, so that's decent fantasy value. I like utilizing him in some deeper leagues for the time being, so look into adding him if he becomes available in your league.

Phoenix's Collin Gillespie was also dropped after playing on Wednesday. He had a poor fantasy showing, so that's more to blame than fantasy owners looking to drop a streamer. Gillespie is owned in 82% of leagues, so we'll see if he can bounce back in his next game.

Here are some other players on the drop list today…

Brooklyn's Egor Demin is down 4.2% and sits at 18% overall. Oklahoma City's Aaron Wiggins is down 4% to 34% overall.

Phoenix's Jordan Goodwin is owned in 20% of leagues after a 3.9% dropoff. Orlando's Goga Bitadze and Phoenix's Ryan Dunn were dropped in 3.5% of leagues each - Bitadze is rostered in 11% of leagues, while Dunn is down to 15%.

Philadelphia's Jared McCain is down to 19% owned after a 3.5% dropoff.
