Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Adds for Tuesday, December 9: Sandro Mamukelashvili, Herbert Jones, Anthony Black and More
Looking at several fantasy basketball waiver wire options in the eighth week of the NBA season.
The second day of the week only has a couple NBA games scheduled, but that won't stop us from going over some fantasy basketball waiver wire options.
Yesterday, we combined waiver wire adds and drops into one story, but will split them up today, so check back for drop candidates.

Should You Add Sandro Mamukelashvili?
Mamukelashvili is rostered in 20.34% of fantasy basketball leagues after a 8.27% increase so far. He should be over 10% by the end of the day.
Mamukelashvili had 14 points and six rebounds in his last appearance. He has scored in double figures in every other contest over the past seven contests.
He's started two times over his 24 total games this season. Mamukelashvili is averaging 10 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.6 blocks and 0.5 steals over 19.7 minutes a contest. He is shooting 52% overall and he's 38.5% from behind the 3-point line.
Mamukelashvili has been a pretty steady contributor for the Raptors this season. Injuries to others has helped him a bit, but Mamukelashvili has also played well enough for some standalone fantasy value.
Right now, I like utilizing him in more deeper leagues. He has a big enough role and is producing enough for utilization in those leagues. I don't think he'd ever get into standard leagues, unless injuries really ravished Toronto's roster.
Mamukelashvili plays on Tuesday against the Knicks, so fantasy owners are treating him as a streamer. I think he's worth holding in more deeper leagues, so consider keeping him after tonight's game, especially if he delivers good results.
Should You Add Anthony Black?
Black is up 6.41% and sits at 72.88% overall now.
He has played over 30 minutes in three of the past four games, and that's all off the bench. Black has scored in double figures in all but one of those contests, plus added in a good amount of rebounds and assists, while chipping in some steals and blocks too.
Overall in 24 games (just four starts), Black has averaged 13.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks over 28 minutes a night. He's shooting 45.4% overall and is 31.4% from deep.
Black has been better than that of late, so it's fair to see him on the rise. He too is playing on Tuesday, so this is another streaming add.
Again though, I think Black is worth holding on to. He's delivering enough for standard league usage, so treat him as such until the numbers say to move off him.
I think you'd be surprised how solid of a fantasy asset Black can be, and he's worth utilizing for the time being. An injury to Franz Wagner should only up Black's fantasy value more.
Should You Add Tristan da Silva?
Da Silva has been added in 5.98% of fantasy leagues, bringing his new total to 19.77%.
Da Silva's own percentage increase can be directly tied to Wagner being out for a couple weeks. He will play more as a result, so his fantasy value will rise until Wagner is back in the mix.
For the season, he has played in 24 games (10 starts). Da Silva is averaging 10 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.3 blocks over 23.4 minutes a night. He's shooting 45% overall and is 37.4% from deep.
In his 10 starts this season, Da Silva is averaging 11 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 0.9 steals and 0.5 blocks over 26.7 minutes. It's not a massive difference in stats, but he is a better fantasy asset when he's starting, which is no surprise.
His stats still are lacking either way, which is why his own percentage is where it is right now. Da Silva is only a deep-league fantasy asset as a result, but he could get near 50% owned or so, especially if he gets in a good groove.
Da Silva is not a must-add player, but I do like the idea of adding him in more deeper leagues today. Utilize him while he's in a better fantasy situation.
Obviously, he plays tonight too, so he probably is being added as a streamer in some cases. If he fares well, I'd urge the fantasy owners who streamed him to consider holding him until Wagner returns, or Da Silva's numbers aren't that good.
Should You Add Herbert Jones?
Jones is owned in 37.85% of leagues after a 4.9% increase.
This is the first waiver wire add who doesn't play today. Jones played last night, providing 17 points, six rebounds, four assists and steals and a block across 25 minutes. That was his first game since November 21.
In 17 games (all starts), Jones is averaging 9.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.6 steals and 0.3 blocks across 30 minutes a night. He's shooting 40.4% overall and he's 34.7% from deep.
He's partly being added after finally getting back on the court, while also being added for a well-rounded effort on Monday. Jones is having a bit of a down season, but if he can stay healthy, he can be a pretty solid fantasy option.
Jones is worth adding in deeper leagues today, and for as long as he's playing, he can stick on deep-league rosters. If he produces like he did last night, he could work back into standard leagues too, so keep an eye on him for a potential add down the road.
Should You Add Mitchell Robinson?
Robinson is up 4.74% and sitting at 19.77% overall now.
Yet another player with a game tonight. Robinson started and played 25 minutes in the team's last game, which is partly why he's being added today.
He has 10 starts over his 15 games played this season. Robinson is averaging just 3.7 points, 8.4 rebounds, 0.9 assists and blocks and 0.8 steals over 17.5 minutes a night. He's shooting 66.7% from the floor.
His last game was a step in the right direction, as starting and playing that many minutes can lead to more fantasy production. Robinson only had six points in that contest, but with 13 rebounds, two assists and one steal and block, he was a pretty solid fantasy asset all-around.
Robinson is a fine streaming option in deeper leagues for the time being, and if he keeps starting, or plays half of games or more, there's a chance he turns into a deep-league keeper.
You'll want to watch his production on a daily basis to figure out how to assess him moving forward.
Other Waiver Wire Adds
There's several other notable risers on the waiver wire list today, so let's go over some of them to cap this article off.
Goga Bitadze and Wendell Carter Jr. are two more Orlando players on the rise today after the Wagner injury, and with a game today.
Miami has Simone Fontecchio, Nikola Jovic, Davion Mitchell and Jaime Jaquez Jr. on the rise before its Tuesday night game.
Along with Robinson, Jordan Clarkson is another Knick on the rise today.
New Orleans' Derik Queen is up 3.18% today and sitting at 87.57% overall after a monster fantasy showing on Monday - he was the top fantasy basketball player. Get him added before it's too late.
