Triple-A Bats on the Rise: Dynasty Baseball Prospects Closing in on MLB

Several young hitters have excelled in Triple-A and many could be one call away from helping fantasy teams this season.

Let's dive back into looking into MLB prospects here. We will discuss Triple-A players, looking at hitters first. We will keep the focus on players age 25 or younger, so with dynasty leagues more in mind.

Here are articles on top-100 hitters and pitchers who are excelling this season.

Denzer Guzman - Los Angeles Angels

Guzman is a 22-year-old shortstop who is ranked seventh in the Angels' system. He was signed back in 2021.

He has 80 total hits this season in the minor leagues, including 16 doubles, 12 home runs and two triples. Guzman has 45 runs scored, 57 RBIs, 27 walks, nine stolen bases and 48 strikeouts.

Guzman is in the MLB right now, and has played 21 big league games total between this year and last. He's producing more in eight MLB games this year than he did last year, and he's a rising fantasy asset. Guzman is rostered in 2% of leagues at the moment.

Jim Jarvis - Atlanta Braves

Jarvis is the team's No. 29 prospect. He is 25 years old, was drafted in the 11th round in 2023 and has a 2026 ETA.

Jarvis has 78 hits so far, including 15 doubles, five homers and three triples. He has 40 runs scored, 32 RBIs, 38 walks, 23 stolen bases and 49 strikeouts.

He can play all over the infield, so that helps his chances of getting into the big leagues and sticking eventually. Jarvis was in the big leagues for two games earlier this year, and an injury or two could get him back in the big leagues.

His best chance to MLB playing time this year, and in the years to come, could be a change of scenery. We'll see if Jarvis gets it before the trade deadline.

Hector Rodriguez - Cincinnati Reds

Rodriguez is the team's No. 5 prospect. The 22-year-old was signed in 2021 and has a 2026 ETA.

The outfielder has 78 hits as well, including 15 home runs, 12 doubles and three triples. Rodriguez has 55 runs scored, 45 RBIs, 33 walks, four stolen bases and 61 strikeouts.

Rodriguez should be in the big leagues at some point this year, so be watching for that. I like his outlook in dynasty leagues, but he could also have redraft value if he gets called up and delivers a bit at the plate.

James Tibbs III - Los Angeles Dodgers

Tibbs is the 10th-ranked prospect in the Dodgers' system, a loaded one. He is 23 years old, was a first-round pick in 2024 and has a 2027 ETA.

The outfielder and first baseman has 78 total hits, including 19 homers, 17 doubles and two triples. Tibbs has 62 runs scored, 59 RBIs, 51 walks, three stolen bases and 82 strikeouts.

Tibbs has a chance to make the big leagues yet in 2026, but a change of scenery might be his best chance at doing so. The Dodgers are loaded, so Tibbs might not make his MLB debut with them until 2027, like he's projected to.

Joshua Baez - St. Louis Cardinals

Baez is the No. 65 prospect in all of baseball. The 22-year-old outfielder was a second-round pick back in 2021, and has a 2026 ETA.

Baez has popped 23 home runs already this season. He has 71 hits overall, including 13 doubles and three triples. Baez has 60 RBIs, 53 runs scored, 20 walks, 12 stolen bases and 88 strikeouts.

The outfielder should get a crack at the big leagues at some point this season, but might need some injuries to get him the call since the team is playing better than expected. Stash him in dynasty leagues, and be ready to add him in some redraft leagues if he indeed gets called up this season.

Christian Moore - Los Angeles Angels

Moore isn't considered a prospect anymore after getting in 53 big league games in 2025. He had a .198 average and .284 OBP, along with 62 strikeouts over 184 plate appearances.

Moore has a .333 average this season, and he's also walked a whopping 49 times. He has 65 total hits, including 14 doubles, nine homers and four triples. Moore also has 55 runs scored, 45 RBIs, 10 stolen bases and 54 strikeouts.

I'm a bit surprised he hasn't been called back up to the big leagues, and it should happen at some point, probably before the trade deadline even. Be ready to add him in redraft leagues, and keep stashing him in dynasty leagues and expecting big things down the line.

Yohandy Morales - Washington Nationals

Morales is the No. 28 prospect in the Nationals' system. The 24-year-old corner infielder was a second-round pick in 2023, and he's got a 2026 ETA.

Morales has a .328 average - that includes 76 hits, with 15 homers and 11 doubles among them. He has 51 runs scored, 43 RBIs, 26 walks, three stolen bases and 65 strikeouts.

Morales has a chance of being called up at any point, so be watching for that. He has a good dynasty outlook and could work into some redraft leagues if he gets called up and produces a bit at the big league level.
