Crowded Washington Backfield Suppresses Veteran's Fantasy Appeal

Jeremy McNichols returns to Washington facing an uphill battle for touches. Despite a decent 2025 campaign where he caught 25 passes for 196 yards, the veteran finds himself buried on a reconstructed depth chart behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Rachaad White. He projects strictly as a deep reserve who will struggle to earn snaps.

This crowded backfield has caused his draft stock to plummet. In late May, his ADP sat near pick 351, but it has since fallen to 438. Our data indicates fantasy managers are rightly fading him. At this dropping cost, he is a falling asset who lacks the path to touches required to justify a draft pick.

Our models project McNichols for a highly restricted role, projecting only 17 carries and six receptions. Rostered in just 9% of leagues, he has zero standalone value. Unless multiple injuries strike the depth chart, he should remain on your waiver wire.
