Rodgers Likely to Sign with Steelers

Rodgers is set to visit with Pittsburgh this weekend, and the expectation is for him to sign a new deal and be the team's starting quarterback for 2026. It's something a lot of people have expected, but it's taken some time to materialize - I'd expect nothing less since this involves Rodgers.

Seeing as no other teams have shown much interest in Rodgers, let's discuss the situation like he's going to sign with Pittsburgh. We can address things in a different story down the line if Rodgers doesn't sign there.

Rodgers has been a so-so fantasy asset in the latter portion of his career. He was solid in 2025, completing 65.7% of his passes for 3,322 passing yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He added 61 rushing yards and a score on 21 attempts.

He's not the QB he once was, but he still has some fantasy value. His outlook with Pittsburgh for 2026 is pretty solid after some of the team's offseason additions.

DK Metcalf and Michael Pittman now lead the wideout room, and rookies Germie Bernard and Kaden Wetjen join Roman Wilson, Ben Skowronek and others as additional options. The backfield has Jaylen Warren and Rico Dowdle, with Kaleb Johnson and rookie Eli Heidenreich as well.

There's enough playmakers around Rodgers to help the veteran QB be a decent fantasy asset. He'll open as a better deep-league asset, but could work into standard leagues with good results, or in favorable matchups.

We can discuss Rodgers more as the 2026 regular season approaches, but for now, I'll say to not sleep on the 42-year-old QB.

Jennings Signs with Minnesota

Jennings signed a one-year deal with the Vikings on Thursday. It's worth $8 million, and he could earn up to $13 million with incentives.

It's an interesting landing spot, as Minnesota has Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison already. Jennings should be the other starting wideout, but his offensive role isn't likely to be very high behind those two wideouts.

Minnesota doesn't have a ton of wide receiver depth, so Jennings is set pretty firmly as WR3, especially at that price tag. Throw in tight end T.J. Hockenson and running backs Aaron Jones Sr. Jordan Mason and rookie Demond Claiborne though and there's not a ton of production out there for Jennings, especially if Addison and Jefferson stay healthy.

It's a good move in the real world, but I don't love the landing spot for his fantasy football outlook. He could surprise, but I really think it'd take an injury to Jefferson or Addison to help Jennings to fantasy relevance.

So I think Jennings opens the year as a better deep-league fantasy asset. He'll be worth watching, but inconsistency behind Addison and Jefferson will probably hold him back from being a standard league asset too often.

Again, I like the move for the Vikings, who should have a good offense, especially if Kyler Murray can turn back the clock. For fantasy purposes though, I don't love this for Jennings, or really any offensive players outside maybe Murray.

Colts Release Moore

Moore asked for a trade earlier this offseason, and the team failed to find a trade partner, so the veteran cornerback was let go on Thursday.

In nine years with Indy, Moore put together some big numbers, but has been up and down as a player and IDP fantasy asset. He has played in 132 games, tallying 21 interceptions, 11.5 sacks, 20 QB hits and 39 tackles for losses among his 649 combined tackles.

He has seen his tackles drop from 93 to 78 to 55 over the past three years. Moore had three picks in the first two years in that stretch, but then just one last year.

Moore will be a desirable free agent, and a ton of teams will be interested in adding the veteran corner. I'd expect him to have his pick of teams he wants to play for.

Expect him to land with a contender, especially one lacking at cornerback. We can cover his landing spot a bit more when we learn who signs him.

His fantasy outlook isn't that high anymore, but a change of scenery and good health could lead to big things from Moore, so don't be too down on him.
