Week 13 of the NFL regular season is unique in that four games will be played by the time Sunday's games roll around. That speeds the entire fantasy week up, so we are giving you week 13 rankings a day early!

We will start with the running back position in this article. Check back for rankings on quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends!

Check out week 13 fantasy football projections for running backs on FantasySP as well.

1. Jonathan Taylor

Taylor gets the No. 1 spot in the week 13 rankings.

He has the Texans for a matchup. Houston is a bit tougher test, but I like Taylor to get back on track after a down week 12 showing.

2. Christian McCaffrey

CMC continues to deliver, and has actually passed Taylor on a points per game basis for the season.

He's got a bit tougher matchup against the Browns, so that's why he falls below Taylor this week.

3. De'Von Achane

After a bye week, Achane should be fresh and ready to rock against the Saints.

He's been a fantasy stud of late, and in a pretty average matchup, Achane should keep things rolling.

4. Jahmyr Gibbs

Talk about a fantasy star of late, Gibbs has been one.

He's got the Packers on Thanksgiving. It's a tougher matchup on paper, but he scored 15 PPR points against them in week 1. It took 10 receptions to get there, but I think he and the Lions' offense will fare better this time around.

5. Bijan Robinson

Robinson lands the No. 5 ranking as he prepares for the Jets.

That's an above-average matchup for Robinson, so I expect him to deliver a big fantasy score.

6. Derrick Henry

Let's turn back the clock a bit and try Henry here at No. 6.

It's the best fantasy matchup a back could have, so there's a chance Henry soars past my ranking.

7. Josh Jacobs

I expect Jacobs to return from his injury this week, and he falls to the No. 7 spot because of that injury and a tough test against Detroit.

He scored a touchdown and had 70 total yards across 20 touches in the first game.

If Jacobs cannot go, Emanuel Wilson would fall in the early teens for week 13.

8. James Cook

Cook is coming off another big game and has a week 13 matchup against the Steelers.

Pittsburgh is a bit tougher test on paper, but I expect Cook to rack up enough fantasy points on volume stats.

9. Saquon Barkley

Barkley continues to underwhelm as a fantasy asset most weeks, but it's hard to rank someone who gets so much work any lower.

He has a pretty average matchup against the Bears, so I have Barkley as an above-average fantasy option, and top-10 back in week 13.

10. Kyren Williams

Williams was slowed a bit in week 12, but I still like him at No. 10 for week 13.

Carolina is his matchup, and it's a pretty favorable one, so I expect him to shine as a fantasy asset.

11. Javonte Williams

Williams has slowed a bit as a fantasy asset, but it's just a lack of touchdowns which is holding him back - he's been close to 100 total yards in three straight games still.

That's why he continues to rank high, even in tough matchups like he has this week against the Chiefs. I expect Williams to rack up points in one way or another, and hopefully he finds the end zone again.

12. Bucky Irving

I think Irving will finally play in week 13 - it's about time!

His clash against the Cardinals is above average, so I see him delivering a nice fantasy outing, even if his snaps/touches are limited.

13. TreVeyon Henderson

He slowed as a fantasy asset in week 12, but still had 81 total yards on 21 touches, so those are positive marks.

Henderson has a great matchup against the Giants, so I see him bouncing back.

14. Breece Hall

Hall had a nice fantasy day without a score in week 12, with most of his work coming as a pass catcher.

Atlanta is another good fantasy matchup, so I see Hall continuing his positive results in week 13.

15. Rico Dowdle

Dowdle is like a lot of the backs we just discussed, faring well without a score last week.

However, he has a brutal test against the Rams in week 13, so I'm down on Dowdle this week.

16. Chase Brown

Brown has continued to deliver solid results of late, and now might get a boost with the return of Joe Burrow.

The Ravens are an above-average matchup for him, even though they've improved of late. I see Brown continuing his recent success.

17. Ashton Jeanty

Jeanty is banged up as the week begins, so his status will be worth watching. I wouldn't add a Raiders' back to my top 30 if Jeanty is eventually ruled out this week.

Jeanty had just 44 total yards on 14 touches in the first matchup against the Chargers. LA is a slightly below-average matchup overall.

18. RJ Harvey

Harvey was slowed in week 12, but I'm not overlooking him in his favorable situation going forward.

He has the Commanders in week 13, which is a very favorable matchup. I see the rookie bouncing back and delivering a good fantasy total.

19. Travis Etienne

Etienne keeps scoring to turn solid fantasy days into really good ones.

He's got a favorable test coming against the Titans, so the chance for him to shine again is there - I'd be starting him in all league types.

20. Jaylen Warren

Warren didn't dominate the Steelers' backfield in week 12, but he still did enough to deliver a good fantasy score.

The Bills are his week 13 matchup, and it's a favorable test, so I expect Warren to have a good fantasy showing and lead the backfield again.

21. Kenneth Walker

Walker had another solid fantasy showing in week 12, and this one came without the help of a score, so he continued to trend up.

He has a tougher test against Minnesota this coming week, but it's nothing too crazy, so I expect a solid fantasy total from him.

22. D'Andre Swift

Swift had a rough showing in week 12, but I'm not fully bailing on him quite yet.

He has a slightly below-average test against the Eagles this week, and I see him getting back on track and at least being a solid flex-level guy for the week.

23. Quinshon Judkins

Judkins scored a couple times in week 12 to save an otherwise down fantasy showing.

An average test against the Niners means a bottom-half ranking for Judkins, but I'd still be fine starting him in all leagues.

24. Kenneth Gainwell

Gainwell had a big fantasy showing in week 12 despite not finding the end zone.

The super favorable test against the Bills is a chance for him and Warren to both deliver big fantasy scores.

25. Aaron Jones Sr.

Jones was slowed in week 12, but that was more because the Minnesota offense was dismantled. He still got 12 touches and nearly nine PPR fantasy points.

He has a tougher test against the Seahawks, so he falls to No. 25 for me this week.

26. Woody Marks

Marks was pretty solid without a score back on Thursday of week 12.

A slightly below-average matchup against the Colts is why Marks ranks where he does for week 13.

27. Omarion Hampton

I think Hampton is another back who will return in week 13. He might be limited in his return, so that's why he ranks so low.

An average matchup against the Raiders is a chance for him to at least crack the top 30. I'd skip the other Charger backs if Hampton isn't cleared for this week.

28. Tyrone Tracy

Tracy got 23 touches in week 12, and he delivered another good fantasy showing, so he's trending up as the season winds down.

A very tough test against the Patriots is why I'm down on him and he barely cracks my top 30.

29. David Montgomery

Montgomery was supposed to get more work in week 12, but only logged eight touches.

He nearly falls outside my top-30 rankings going into a test against the Packers, but I'll give him one more shot, at least.

30. Isiah Pacheco or Kareem Hunt

Pacheco is another back I expect to return to the field this week. If he doesn't, you can replace him in the rankings with Hunt.

The KC backs have a favorable test against the Cowboys, so that's why one of them needs to be in the top 30.
