Top Hitters

Four players led the league with eight hits over the weekend.

Minnesota’s Willi Castro delivered three doubles among his eight knocks. He drove in two runs, scored four times, and struck out twice.

Cincinnati’s Jonathan India homered among his eight hits. He drove in four runs, scored once and struck out twice.

Philadelphia’s Alec Bohm stayed hot with his eight hits, which included three doubles and a homer. He drove in five runs, scored four times and struck out twice.

Washington’s Trey Lipscomb doubled once among his eight hits. He didn’t drive in a run, but scored five runs. Lipscomb also walked once, was hit by a pitch and stole a base. He wasn’t a strikeout victim across the three games.

Cincinnati’s Nick Senzel homered for all three of his weekend hits. He drove in seven runs, scored four times and struck out twice in two games played.

Chicago White Sox’s Andrew Benintendi led the league with eight RBIs this weekend. He homered twice among his six total hits, and also scored twice. Benintendi was a strikeout victim five times.

Minnesota’s Carlos Santana drove in seven runs on five hits this weekend. He doubled once and homered twice. Santana scored four runs and was hit by a pitch.

Boston’s Ceddanne Rafaela also drove in seven runs, accomplishing it on five hits. He doubled three times and homered once, while scoring four runs. Rafaela also had a stolen base and sacrifice fly, while striking out just once.

Washington’s Jacob Young led the MLB with seven runs scored. He doubled among his seven total hits and drove in four runs. He was also hit by a pitch, had a sacrifice and stole four bases.

New York Yankees’ Anthony Rizzo scored six runs this weekend. He doubled and homered twice among his seven knocks, while driving in four. Rizzo walked once and struck out three times.

Minnesota’s Austin Martin scored five runs after delivering just two hits, one of which was a double. He walked three times, drove in two, stole two bases and struck out twice.

Cincinnati’s Elly De La Cruz stole three bases this weekend. He singled for his lone hit, walked twice and struck out four times. De La Cruz scored two times.

Philadelphia’s J.T. Realmuto drove in five runs on four hits this weekend. He doubled once and homered twice. Realmuto walked once, scored three runs and struck out three times.

Yankees’ Aaron Judge drove in five runs on five hits. He homered twice, walked four times, scored three times and struck out three times.

Yankees’ Alex Verdugo drove in five on five hits, with two homers as well. He walked once, had a sacrifice fly, scored four runs and struck out once.

Milwaukee’s Joey Ortiz drove in five runs on four hits, including two doubles and a homer. He walked four times, had a sacrifice fly, scored once and struck out twice.

Kansas City’s Bobby Witt Jr. drove in five runs on four hits, including a triple. He stole a base, had a sacrifice fly, scored twice and struck out three times.

Miami’s Vidal Brujan tripled twice among his six weekend hits. He scored three runs and drove in one, while striking out once.

Los Angeles Dodgers’ Mookie Betts had six hits, including two doubles and a triple. He drove in two runs, scored twice, stole two bases and walked once.

Boston’s Tyler O'Neill doubled and homered twice among his six weekend hits. He drove in four runs and scored four times. O’Neill walked twice and struck out three times.

White Sox’s Eloy Jimenez doubled and homered among his six hits. He scored three times and drove in two. Jimenez walked once and struck out three times.

Minnesota’s Ryan Jeffers was another player with six hits. He homered and doubled among those hits, drove in four runs and scored three times. Jeffers also had a walk, a sacrifice fly and was hit by two pitches, while walking once and striking out twice.

Los Angeles Angels’ Mike Trout had just one hit, but walked four times. He drove in a run and struck out twice.
