Matt Duchene | Fantasy Outlook
Duchene remains out on injured reserve ahead of road clash in Colorado
Veteran forward Matt Duchene remains out of the lineup tonight as the Dallas Stars travel to face the Colorado Avalanche at Ball Arena. Following an official club update earlier this week, Duchene remains sidelined on injured reserve due to an ongoing lower-body injury that has kept him out since late September. Reflecting his continued unavailability, fantasy start percentages have cratered down to 5% across leagues. Dallas (2-3-1) enters this matchup as a slight road underdog in an anticipated higher-scoring environment, where the Avalanche are expected to turn to Scott Wedgewood (unconfirmed) in goal.
With Duchene officially ruled out, our daily projection assigns him a low point expectation, light shot volume, and zero fantasy points for this contest. Looking at the weekly schedule, Dallas has three total games scheduled for this week, which leaves only one game remaining on Saturday against Chicago after tonight's matchup concludes. With the veteran center unavailable and on injured reserve, our weekly projection expects no counting stats or fantasy production across the slate until he can return to practice. Keep him parked in an IR slot for now. Today’s action: Bench.
