Thomas Harley offers strong peripheral floor and top-four stability on Dallas blueline

At 25 years old, Thomas Harley has cemented himself as an indispensable top-four defenseman for the Stars. After posting back-to-back strong campaigns in 2023 and 2024 with 47 and 54 points, Harley saw his scoring settle at 36 points in 2025 while averaging nearly 20 minutes of ice time per game.

Harley's primary fantasy value lies in his balanced two-way profile and heavy defensive work rate. He has surpassed 125 blocked shots in three straight seasons, including 156 blocks last year. Our season projection forecasts 36 points, 113 shots on goal, and 148 blocked shots across 70 games, providing a very bankable floor in peripheral-rewarding formats.

With an ADP near 150, fantasy managers can target Harley in the late rounds as a dependable third or fourth defenseman. While his offensive upside is somewhat limited without exclusive top-unit power-play time, his high floor in blocks, solid plus-minus profile, and steady top-four deployment make him an excellent depth asset.
