Week 7 Fantasy Football RB Rankings: Where Does Derrick Henry Land?
These top-30 running back rankings break down the best fantasy football options, toughest matchups and players worth starting in Week 7.
Let's continue ranking Week 7 fantasy football players by going over the running back position!
We went over quarterbacks and tight ends yesterday, and will cover wide receivers in an article to come, so check back for that.

1. Jahmyr Gibbs
Gibbs lands the No. 1 spot going into Week 7. He will be facing the Packers.
Despite a solid pass defense, Green Bay has struggled to slow fantasy RBs, so Gibbs is primed for a big showing.
CMC will look to keep things rolling in Week 7 against the Falcons.
Connect your league to uncover strengths & weaknesses, waiver assistance, trade scenarios, and get instant start/sit clarity.
Atlanta is a slightly above-average matchup for him, and with the Niners' offense being a bit battered, I expect to see a lot of McCaffrey, and that should lead to a big fantasy showing.
Robinson gets the third spot this week as he hopes to start looking like the dominant back we know he can be.
The test against the Niners is above average as well, so I'd expect Robinson to deliver big for his fantasy owners in Week 7, especially if the Falcons keep the game close.
Walker is fresh after a bye last week. He now has a test against the Seahawks.
Seattle's defense is intimidating, but they are actually an above-average matchup for Walker, so the high-end back this year should deliver big.
The Rams need a win desperately, and I'd expect them to lean on Williams a bit more with Davante Adams out of the picture.
Las Vegas is his matchup, and the Raiders are a pretty favorable matchup, so we'll see if Williams can post a big fantasy score.
King Henry sits at No. 6 this week heading into a division battle with Cincinnati.
The Bengals are a below-average matchup, but that won't stop me from rolling with Henry. Expect him to post a big fantasy score on a heavy workload alone.
Warren and the Steelers' RBs have the best fantasy matchup possible against the Saints in Week 7.
Warren has been pretty good all season already, so he lands a top-10 spot in a super favorable matchup.
Williams has an average test coming against the Eagles.
While the matchup is just average, the game outlook for Williams and the Dallas offense is favorable, so I think the RB posts a big fantasy score.
Taylor is a top-end fantasy back, but the toughest matchup possible against the Vikings scares me a bit.
I still expect him to deliver a top-10 fantasy showing, but his fantasy owners need to temper expectations a bit, at least.
10. Bucky Irving
Irving has a very favorable matchup coming in Week 7 against the Panthers.
I expect the Bucs to rely on Irving, and with a big workload, I see a big fantasy score coming in a must-win game for Tampa Bay.
11. Ashton Jeanty
The Raiders seem to be monitoring Jeanty's workload as he deals with a few ailments, so he's a bit riskier fantasy option.
Throw in a tougher test against the Rams and the running back falls out of the top 10 for me this week.
12. D'Andre Swift
Swift should function as the top back for Chicago again in Week 7.
He will be facing the Patriots on Thursday night. It's a below-average matchup, but nothing too daunting, so fire up Swift confidently in most leagues.
13. Chase Brown
The last time we saw Brown, he was outproduced by teammate Samaje Perine. After a bye week, fantasy owners are hoping for more out of Brown.
He has a below-average test coming against the Ravens, but I'm going to trust Brown enough to rank him 13th this week. We'll see if he can turn his season around.
14. Saquon Barkley or Dameon Pierce
The starting RB in Philly will rank 14th for me going into a battle with the Cowboys.
Dallas is an above-average matchup, but between Barkley's injury concern and lackluster results from Pierce so far, I only feel good enough ranking each back here.
15. Chuba Hubbard
Hubbard has been pretty good this season, especially of late, but he has a very tough test coming in Week 7.
He will be facing the Buccaneers, who are a bottom-five matchup for RBs so far. I think Hubbard still does enough to deliver an average-or-so fantasy score.
16. Braelon Allen or Breece Hall
We are listing Allen or Hall here in the No. 16 spot for Week 7.
They have a very favorable matchup coming against the Dolphins, so the outlook is pretty good, but I'm just not all-in on the Jets' offense, so I'm still tempering expectations for whoever starts at RB.
17. Quinshon Judkins
Judkins hopes to get back on the field for a Week 7 clash with the Titans.
That's a below-average matchup, so a below-average ranking is pretty fair in my eyes, especially after he missed last week.
18. Josh Jacobs
Jacobs could be back this week, and he could immediately return as the workhorse back for the Pack.
His matchup against the Lions is below average, so I'd temper expectations, especially in his first game of the season. Jacobs will be a safer option moving forward, but I'd still be starting him in Week 7.
19. Aaron Jones Sr.
The backfield might not solely belong to Jones this week, but I'm still guessing he leads the charge.
His matchup against the Colts is very favorable, so I see Jones being worth starting in most fantasy leagues for Week 7.
20. J.K. Dobbins
Dobbins will look to lead the Denver backfield in Week 7 against Arizona.
He has competition for touches and snaps, so that's what drops him to 20th in the rankings. An average matchup awaits, so we'll see if Dobbins can score a few points.
21. Jeremiyah Love
In that Arizona-Denver game, Love is the other starting back, if he's healthy enough to play.
Denver has been a pretty favorable matchup for backs so far, so I could see Love putting together a good fantasy showing, granted he's active and playing enough snaps.
22. Woody Marks
Marks was solid in the RB1 role for Houston last week, and will look for more in Week 7. There's a chance David Montgomery returns, but I'd still take Marks over him.
The matchup against the Giants is just slightly better than average, so both backs could produce a bit, but if Montgomery is out, I really like trying Marks this week.
Stevenson has competition in his own backfield as well, so he drops to No. 23 as the Pats' lead guy.
A very tough matchup against the Bears awaits, but with several offensive injuries in New England, I see Stevenson scoring several fantasy points and being worth at least deep-league starts.
24. Tony Pollard
Pollard gets the No. 24 spot despite a very tough test against the Browns.
The game outlook favors a running game for the Titans, so I think Pollard could deliver a solid fantasy score on a big workload alone.
25. Jordan Mason
I expect Mason to return this week, and if he does, his outlook against the Colts is stellar.
So I have Jones and Mason being worthwhile fantasy assets, but I like Mason more as a deep-league option fresh off his injury.
26. Ollie Gordon
Gordon is fresh after a bye week and has a slightly above-average matchup coming against the Jets in Week 7.
This is a winnable game for Miami, so the top RB could score several fantasy points and be a decent deep-league option.
27. Zach Charbonnet
I expect Charbonnet to return and lead the Seattle backfield in Week 7.
A below-average test against the Chiefs awaits, but I still believe in Charbonnet enough to try him this week. Emanuel Wilson could take this spot if he starts and Charbonnet is inactive again.
28. Kendre Miller
Miller has been the lead New Orleans back of late, even if the fantasy results haven't shown that.
A slightly below-average matchup against the Steelers is next in Week 7, and I think on a big workload alone, Miller delivers a solid fantasy outing.
29. Blake Corum
I talked about the Rams needing Williams more with Adams out, and the same could be said of Corum, the team's RB2.
The favorable matchup against the Raiders makes both LA backs worthy fantasy options in Week 7.
30. Tyler Allgeier
Arizona lacks a ton of offensive weapons, so the team's RB2 could also fare well behind Love.
I see Allgeier getting enough work, and in a favorable matchup, I see the running back putting up a few fantasy points.
