1. Brock Purdy
With no Josh Allen around this week, the No. 1 spot was up for grabs. I gave it to Purdy heading into a clash against the Falcons.
Atlanta is a top-10 fantasy matchup for quarterbacks, and with how Purdy has looked so far, I think there's enough there to rank him first.
2. Jordan Love
I heavily considered Love at the No. 1 spot, with a juicy matchup against the Lions being the reason.

Detroit is the most favorable fantasy matchup a QB can have so far, and Love has been hot of late, so this No. 2 ranking shouldn't surprise you.
Stafford gets the No. 3 spot despite now being without Davante Adams.
A very favorable matchup is coming in Week 7 against the Raiders, and I think the Rams' QB shows out in a must-win game for LA.
4. Drake Maye
Maye is No. 4 heading into a battle with the Bears.
Chicago is a slightly above-average matchup, but with Maye figuring things out the past couple of weeks, I'm all-in on him again.
5. Joe Burrow
Burrow has the first below-average matchup of the QBs we've ranked so far.
Baltimore is the below-average matchup, but coming off a bye, I see Burrow doing enough for a top-five fantasy score yet.
Jackson seems on track to play in Week 7, but injury concerns have me ranking him sixth.
Cincy is an average matchup, but after a couple of weeks off, I'm tempering expectations with Jackson a bit for this coming week.
7. Jared Goff
Goff has been really good this season, but a very tough matchup against the Packers is next for him.
I trust in Goff and the Lions' offense enough to believe the QB finishes in the top 10 at the position still.
8. Bryce Young
Young has been a pleasant surprise this season, but a tougher test awaits in Week 7 against the Buccaneers.
I still like Young's outlook enough to call him a top-10 QB for the week. We'll see if he can deliver again.
9. Dak Prescott
This ranking seems a bit risky after Prescott has struggled of late, but a favorable matchup against the Eagles sets him up well.
I think Prescott and the Cowboys' offense get back on track a bit, and the QB delivers a top-10 fantasy score at the position.
10. Caleb Williams
Williams was good in his return to the field, and now the opposition will stiffen against the Patriots in Week 7.
He was viewed highly coming into the season, so if you were stashing him through his injury, you should be confident enough to try Williams in Week 7.
11. C.J. Stroud
Stroud has been hot of late, and I see that continuing in Week 7 against the Giants.
That's a top-eight fantasy matchup for a quarterback, so things are lined up well for Stroud to deliver, maybe even higher than I have him ranked.
12. Aaron Rodgers
The veteran gets the No. 12 spot heading into an ever so slightly above-average test against the Saints.
Rodgers has been good of late, and the matchup is good enough to try him on a week where some high-end fantasy QBs are on byes.
13. Kirk Cousins
Cousins sits 13th heading into a test against the Rams.
LA is a slightly below-average matchup, but the game outlook favors Cousins, and I think he posts another good fantasy showing by the end of the week.
14. Kyler Murray
Murray returns after the Vikings' bye for a clash with the Colts.
Indy is just outside being a top-10 fantasy matchup, so the dual-threat QB is set up pretty well.
15. Jacoby Brissett
Brissett lands the No. 15 slot despite a tougher test against the Broncos.
QBs are still averaging around 15 fantasy points per game against Denver, so I think Brissett could produce near that level, making him an average option overall.
16. Bo Nix
It's scary to rank Nix this highly after his very slow start to the season, but the matchup against the Cardinals gives me hope.
Arizona is a top-five matchup, so I really wanted to rank Nix much higher. I only trust him enough to rank him here, but don't be surprised if Nix breaks out a bit in Week 7.
17. Tyler Shough
Shough has been a pretty good fantasy QB so far, but a very tough test against the Steelers awaits.
He's better left on the bench in standard leagues, but will be starting in a good number of deeper leagues still.
18. Patrick Mahomes
Mahomes is another QB I wanted to rank much higher, but he has a brutal test coming against the Seahawks. The game is in Seattle, which worsens Mahomes' outlook even more.
I still have enough faith in the veteran QB to try him in some deeper leagues, but I think you could do better in a standard league.
19. Geno Smith
Smith gets a big boost up the rankings going into Week 7.
A pretty favorable matchup against the Dolphins sets Smith up to succeed, and maybe deliver his best fantasy showing of the season.
20. Tanner McKee
McKee is the new starting QB in Philadelphia with Jalen Hurts lost for the season, most likely.
McKee has a very favorable matchup coming against the Cowboys, so he could surprise a bit in Week 7. I still would only want to start him in deeper leagues.
21. Michael Penix
Penix is No. 21 this week as he gets ready for the 49ers.
San Fran is a below-average test, so I expect those kinds of results from the Atlanta QB.
22. J.J. McCarthy or Jameis Winston
Regardless of who starts for the Giants, I have them ranked 22nd this week.
Houston is an above-average matchup on paper so far, but something is telling me that the defense will slow the Giants, whether it's McCarthy or Winston leading the way.
23. Deshaun Watson
Watson and the Browns' offense has slowed the past couple weeks, and things could be tough again in Week 7 against Tennessee.
The Titans are a below-average matchup, so I expect below-average fantasy results from Watson.
24. Cam Ward
Ward is the other QB in that Browns-Titans game. He slots in 24th for me this week.
Cleveland is a below-average matchup so far, but nothing too daunting, so Ward should be able to score a few points.
25. Jalon Daniels
I think Daniels starts again for Tampa Bay in Week 7. His matchup is the Panthers.
Carolina is an above-average test, but I don't see the rookie delivering too well, so he falls near the end of my rankings.
26. Malik Willis
Willis has struggled to get rolling this season, and a Week 7 test against the Jets isn't very promising.
New York is a below-average matchup, so I expect another lackluster fantasy outing for Willis.
27. Sam Darnold
Darnold has been another QB who has struggled this season. I see that continuing in Week 7 against Kansas City.
The Chiefs are a very, very tough matchup for fantasy QBs, so I'm avoiding Darnold if I can in Week 7.
28. Daniel Jones
Jones falls to the last spot in the QB rankings this week, with his own struggles playing a role in that.
The toughest fantasy matchup possible against the Vikings is another big reason why I'm down on Jones this week. Avoid him if you can.
Other Notes
If Baker Mayfield ends up starting instead of Daniels for Tampa Bay, I'd rank Mayfield between Mahomes and Smith.
If Tyler Huntley starts instead of Jackson again in Baltimore, I'd rank Huntley between Penix and the Giants' starter.
