Fantasy Football Week 1 WR Rankings: Where Do St. Brown, London and Others Land?
The Week 1 fantasy football rankings continue with a look at the top-30 wide receivers in PPR leagues.
Let's now put together top-30 rankings for fantasy football wide receivers in Week 1!
We have already gone over quarterbacks and tight ends, and will be looking at running backs later today. Again, we'll have PPR leagues in mind when doing these rankings.
Week 1 wide receiver fantasy projections can be found on FantasySP! Injury news, trade value charts and a Who Should I Start tool is also available!
I'm giving the No. 1 spot in Week 1 to Chase, my favorite fantasy wideout coming into the season.
He's dealing with an injury as we approach the regular season, so keep tabs on that. If healthy, I expect big things from Chase against the Buccaneers, who were a pretty average fantasy test last season.
2. Puka Nacua
Nacua gets the second slot heading into a test against the Niners on Thursday. He has been dealing with an injury, but is expected to play in Week 1.
When healthy, he's another top-end fantasy wideout, so expect him to shine if active. San Fran was a slightly above-average test for WRs last year.
St. Brown gets a matchup against the Saints in Week 1.
ARSB is one of the more consistent wideouts in the league, so even in a bit tougher test from last year, I trust St. Brown to deliver big.
JSN gets the fourth slot heading into a battle with the Patriots on Wednesday.
He struggled in the matchup in the Super Bowl, so temper expectations a bit this week, but still trust your top-end wideout to deliver.
5. CeeDee Lamb
Lamb and the Cowboys are facing the Giants on Sunday night.
New York was an above-average matchup last week, so I'd expect Dallas' offense to deliver, and Lamb to lead the pass catchers.
6. Nico Collins
I have Collins in the sixth slot despite him facing a tougher test against Buffalo in Week 1.
I trust Collins because he's one of the few proven pass catchers in Houston, so on volume alone, he should deliver for fantasy owners.
7. Drake London
London and the Falcons face the Steelers to kick off the season.
Pittsburgh struggled to slow fantasy wideouts last season, but I can only justify London at this point because of the starting QB (Tua Tagovailoa) that the team has.
8. Chris Olave
I really like Olave as a fantasy asset, especially early in the season as rookie Jordyn Tyson is out.
Olave has a favorable matchup against the Lions in Week 1, and I think he could even outperform the ranking I have him at here.
Jefferson faces a rival in Green Bay in Week 1.
The Packers were an above-average matchup for wideouts last year, and down Micah Parsons, the matchup could be even better in Week 1. I still want to see Jefferson deliver before ranking him too much higher, as he's coming off a down season.
McMillan and the Panthers square off against the Bears in Week 1.
Chicago really struggled to slow opposing fantasy wideouts a season ago, so McMillan could shine right away. I just don't trust Bryce Young enough to rank him any higher this week.
11. Garrett Wilson
Wilson also has a great matchup in Week 1, but his is against the Titans.
I'd also be able to rank Wilson higher if he just had a better offense around him. He still could deliver big in this great matchup though.
12. Zay Flowers
Flowers is my 12th-ranked wideout for Week 1.
His matchup against the Colts is a really favorable one, and with Lamar Jackson back, you should trust Flowers each week he's healthy.
13. Ladd McConkey
McConkey and the Chargers open the year against the Cardinals.
That was a pretty average matchup for fantasy WRs last season, so McConkey ranking near No. 15 should make sense. I have him as the top LA wideout, and if he finds the end zone, he could even rank higher by the end of the week.
14. A.J. Brown
Brown and the Patriots' wideouts have a pretty tough test against the Seahawks to kick off the season.
Brown is a high-end wideout though, and you need to trust your fantasy wideout to get the job done.
15. DeVonta Smith
Smith, Brown's old teammate, is the No. 15 wideout for me in Week 1.
His test against the Commanders is a favorable one based on last year's numbers, so he could finish way higher with a score, or if he's force-fed targets.
16. George Pickens
I'm down on Pickens a bit, but a favorable matchup against the Giants should help him to a pretty good fantasy showing still.
He still should be starting in most fantasy setups, but I'm always going to be a bit skeptical about taking a team's WR2 inside the top 20.
17. Emeka Egbuka
Egbuka could be the Buccaneers' WR1, but he has competition for that spot.
His Week 1 matchup is against Cincinnati, which was surprisingly a tough test a year ago. I see Egbuka emerging as the team's top wideout, and me ranking him this high shows that.
18. Davante Adams
Another WR2 here with Adams, who is behind Nacua.
The matchup against the Niners is good enough to try Adams in all leagues, especially with Nacua banged up a bit.
19. Tee Higgins
Higgins is the Bengals WR2 after Chase, and his outlook is very close to Adams this week.
With Chase battling an injury, Higgins could produce a bit more, so he lands inside my top 20 to start the year.
20. Malik Nabers
Nabers is the Giants' No. 1 wideout, and by a good margin, but he's coming off a major injury.
He gets the top fantasy matchup (against Dallas) based on last year's numbers, so he could finish way above this spot if he looks like his rookie year self.
21. Rashee Rice
I'm not super high on Rice this year, and especially not going into a battle against the Broncos in Week 1.
Denver was the second-toughest fantasy matchup a year ago, so I actually prefer Rice as a flex-level option, not a locked-in starter this week.
22. Jameson Williams
Williams is the Lions' No. 2 wideout after St. Brown, but I still see enough there for Williams to deliver for fantasy owners.
The matchup against New Orleans is below average, but I see Detroit winning and doing enough offensively to help Williams put up several fantasy points.
23. Terry McLaurin
I think McLaurin is a bit overlooked coming into the season, but a tough Week 1 test against Philly puts him here at No. 23.
A touchdown could easily help him finish higher than 23rd, but this is where I feel most comfortable ranking him before the week.
24. Jaylen Waddle
Waddle plays his first game for Denver against Kansas City, which was a tough fantasy test last season.
Courtland Sutton is still around too, so I'm not as high on Waddle as others are. I think Waddle is worth some flex-level starts in standard setups, at least.
25. Luther Burden
Burden could be the Bears' top pass catcher in 2026, but he's got plenty of competition for that honor still.
A matchup against the Panthers in Week 1 is pretty tough too, so I'm skeptical of trying Burden in too many leagues.
26. Christian Watson
Watson could also be his team's top pass catcher this season, but he has competition for that.
Throw in a brutal matchup against the Vikings in Week 1 and Watson is a better flex-level starting option for the week.
27. Mike Evans
Evans plays his first game with the Niners against the Rams, who were an above-average matchup last year.
Evans has been battling an injury as well, so watch his status and temper your expectations for him in the opening week.
28. D.J. Moore
Moore has a good outlook with the Bills, but has a tougher matchup against the Texans in the opening week.
Moore could surprise with his fantasy finish if he scores, and there's enough upside to start him in a good amount of leagues.
29. DK Metcalf
Metcalf is still the Steelers' WR1, although Michael Pittman's presence could change things a bit.
His Week 1 clash against the Falcons is an above-average one, so don't be surprised if Metcalf is a top-30 fantasy wideout. Be watching his status though, as he's dealing with an injury as well.
The Jaguars have a number of pass catchers who could lead the team in 2026, and I'll say Washington is the leader in Week 1.
A tougher test against the Browns knocks him down a peg and barely gets him inside my top-30 list.
