Week 14 Monday Night DFS Lineup: Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbert, Omarion Hampton and More
Morgan puts together a DFS lineup for the week 14 Monday night game between the Eagles and Chargers.
We just went over the top fantasy football players from Monday's game between the Eagles and Chargers, and now we are going to put together a DFS lineup on DraftKings for the Monday night clash.
The six-player lineup has a captain (who costs 1.5 times more, but also scores 1.5 times more) and five flex spots. We have a $50,000 budget. Let's see what we can come up with!

Captain - Omarion Hampton ($11,700)
In what should be the rookie's first game since week 5, I'm trusting him with my captain spot for tonight's game.
He is one of the cheaper options, which is a big reason why I chose him. Hampton also has a pretty favorable matchup coming, so maybe he can not only return, but shine in his first game back.
Hampton is averaging 16 fantasy points per game on the season. He scored 24.9, 30.5 and 13 fantasy points in his last three games played. If he picks up where he left off, this DFS lineup will be in a great spot to succeed.
If Hampton isn't active tonight, I'd try Kimani Vidal in the captain spot as well. He's cheaper, and gives you more wiggle room with the rest of your lineup choices.
Flex - Jalen Hurts ($10,600)
Hurts is my top fantasy player from tonight's game, but you can see by his salary that choosing him as my captain would have crippled the rest of the DFS lineup, so he gets a flex spot instead.
Hurts is averaging 21.3 fantasy points per game for the season. He scored 18.3 last week and had 30.9 the week before that.
Hurts has a tougher matchup on paper tonight, but I like the dual-threat QB to get the job done. I'm expecting him to steal a rushing score or two from Saquon Barkley, who I skipped in this DFS lineup. If Hurts is the top Philly fantasy asset, I like my chances with this lineup.
Flex - Justin Herbert ($10,000)
Herbert is injured coming into the contest, so his status will need to be watched. He's expected to play, and if he does, I have him as the second-best fantasy player tonight.
He is averaging 19.9 fantasy points per game on the season. He hasn't been over 14.7 points in any of his past three games, but I think Herbert can deliver better results tonight.
The matchup for Herbert is pretty average, which is why I think he will put up a good amount of fantasy points, even if his injury is bothering him.
If Herbert doesn't end up playing, you could replace him with anyone else from the contest, or take out my next lineup choice and add a couple average-priced assets instead.
Flex - Cameron Dicker ($5,000)
I needed to save money somewhere, and here is where I did that.
He is averaging 10.1 fantasy points per game on the season, so he could be a sneaky good fantasy asset tonight. If the Chargers move the ball but have a couple drives stall, Dicker has the chance for a big fantasy showing.
It's a favorable fantasy matchup for him, and he should be able to add a healthy amount of fantasy points to my team total.
Flex - Quentin Johnston ($7,000)
Johnston gets the nod from the group of LA pass catchers.
He is averaging 12.2 fantasy points per game on the season, and is coming off an 11.3-point outing. Johnston has a pretty average matchup tonight, so I'm hoping he can at least deliver his season average.
If Johnston ends up outscoring Ladd McConkey, and leading the Chargers' pass catchers, I really like this lineup's chances of succeeding.
Flex - Dallas Goedert ($5,400)
Goedert gets the final lineup spot for me tonight.
He is averaging 11.4 fantasy points per game on the season, but hasn't been over 8.3 points in any of the past four contests.
His matchup tonight is not good, so another single-digit performance is probably coming. Goedert was simply the best fantasy asset I could try available, so he was a reluctant add to this lineup. Maybe he will surprise tonight.
Final Thoughts
I spent big on several players, but ended with a lineup that stacks up really well if they can reach their season averages.
Hurts and Herbert should power this DFS lineup, and I'm hoping for 40+ points between the two.
Hampton could really make or break this lineup, and if he stars, that will put me in a great spot to come away with the best score tonight.
Dicker should be a good source for fantasy points too, but not nearly at the level of Hurts of Herbert.
Johnston and Goedert are a couple wild-card picks. I need them to probably combine for 20 or more points for this lineup to have a chance at the top fantasy score.
There's so many fantasy assets from this game, so there's a number of different ways you could go. I didn't include Vidal, Barkley, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, McConkey, Keenan Allen or Oronde Gadsden, and the Eagles DST, Chargers DST and Jake Elliott are other decent DFS options too.
Best of luck with your final week 14 fantasy football decisions, and with any DFS lineups you put together!
