Key Fantasy Football Injuries Heading into Week 7: Drake Maye, Nick Chubb, Malik Nabers, T.J. Hockenson and More
These are the player dealing with injury who you need to monitor this week.
Quarterbacks
Anthony Richardson, Indianapolis Colts (Oblique)
Richardson is practicing in full this week and is expected to regain his starting job from Joe Flacco on Sunday, barring any setbacks.
Russell Wilson, Pittsburgh Steelers (Calf)
Wilson is finally back healthy and taking first-team reps. He's expected to get the start over Justin Fields in Week 7.
Drake Maye, New England Patriots (Knee)
Maye practices in full on Wednesday but also was reportedly going for an MRI on his knee. This could be nothing, however, it's definitely worth monitoring.
Aaron Rodgers, New York Jets (Ankle)
Rodgers continues to limp around in his old age, nevertheless, he is fully expected to start this week.
Running Backs
Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns (Knee)
Chubb is back practicing and there does appear to be a real chance that he could return to action this week. He's still not a lock and could be very limited if active.
Jonathon Brooks, Carolina Panthers (Knee)
Brooks is back practicing, however, it still sounds like he will miss this week's game and be eased into the offense once he's ready to go.
Jordan Mason, San Francisco 49ers (Shoulder)
Mason has been a limited participant in practice this week and we likely won't know his status for Week 7 until later in the week or even at game time.
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts (Ankle)
Taylor is yet to return to practice and trending towards missing another game. Trey Sermon is also dealing with a knee injury, so it could be a big week for Tyler Goodson if neither can suit up.
Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars (Hamstring)
Etienne got in a limited practice on Wednesday, but is listed as week to week. We doubt he's out there this week, however, this development gives him a shot.
James Cook, Buffalo Bills (Foot)
After missing Monday Night Football, Cook practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday and his status for Week 7 is very much up in the air.
Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots (Foot)
Stevenson sat out last week and hasn't been able to practice this week. Antonio Gibson would likely get another start if he's sidelined, but the team could also turn to JaMycal Hasty.
Najee Harris, Pittsburgh Steelers (Ribs)
Harris is expected to be okay, nonetheless, he was listed as a DNP on Wednesday, so it's worth mentioning.
De'Von Achane, Miami Dolphins (Concussion)
Achane is practicing in full and is expected to be able to go this week as he progresses through the league's concussion protocol.
Zamir White, Las Vegas Raiders (Groin)
White has already lost his bell-cow job but will mix in with Alexander Mattison once he's healthy. He's once again questionable for Week 7.
Aaron Jones, Minnesota Vikings (Hamstring)
Jones hopes to practice on Thursday coming off the bye week. This is a situation to monitor. Ty Chandler would start if he can't go. The team also just traded for Cam Akers, which raised some red flags about Jones' health.
Devin Singletary, New York Giants (Groin)
Like last week, Singletary was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. He wasn't able to play last week and he's not a lock to play this week. Rookie Tyrone Tracy has made the most of his opportunity, looking excellent.
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans (Hamstring)
Spears has not been able to practice this week and is expected to miss some time due to his hamstring injury.
Brian Robinson, Washington Commanders (Knee)
Robinson returned to practice on Wednesday and is trending to returning to action this week after being forced to sit out last week.
Rachaad White, Tampa Buccaneers (Foot)
White is once again questionable this week and we probably won't know much more until the end of the week.
Wide Receivers
Malik Nabers, New York Giants (Concussion)
Nabers is yet to be cleared, however, he is progressing through the concussion protocol and trending in the right direction.
Cooper Kupp, Los Angeles Rams (Ankle)
Kupp is practicing this week and has a chance to return in Week 7.
Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders (Ankle)
Meyers still isn't practicing, which is notable being that he is now the WR1 in Vegas.
Davante Adams, New York Jets (Hamstring)
Adams's hamstring "injury" is suddenly better and he is expected to make his Jets debut this week.
Rashid Shaheed, New Orleans Saints (Knee)
Shaheed has undergone surgery to repair his meniscus and is out indefinitely. This is a brutal blow for the Saints, who will also be without Chris Olave on Thursday Night Football - Olave has been ruled out with a concussion he suffered on Sunday.
D.J. Chark, Los Angeles Chargers (Hip)
Chark has been activated off of IR and could actually carve out a significant role on a terrible WR corps in LA.
Tight Ends
T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings (Knee)
Hockenson has returned to practice, but still sounds like a long shot to return to action this week.
Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles (Hamstring)
Goedert hasn't practiced yet this week and is in serious danger of missing Week 7.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints (Ribs)
Hill has once again been ruled out for Week 7.
