Jason Heyward Returns to Action Saturday

Lesley Tedeschi May 19th 2:21 PM EDT.

After spending the last two weeks away from the field, Jason Heyward is scheduled to be back in action on Saturday. The outfielder has been dealing with a sore knuckle on his right hand, and is finally feeling better.

The Chicago Cubs are taking on the NL central leaders, the Milwaukee Brewers. The Cubs have a decision to make about whether or not to send Ian Happ back down to the minors in order to make room for Heyward. Heyward had a positive outing during his rehab game on Thursday night, so the chances that the Cubs put Happ back down to the minors is likely.
