Week 16 Monday DFS Lineups: George Kittle, Christian McCaffrey, Jonathan Taylor and More

The final game of the NFL's 16th week is a fun matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers. Let's put together some DFS lineups for that contest.

The first contest is a six-player lineup, including five flex players and a captain, who scores 1.5 times as many fantasy points, but also costs 1.5 times more.

The second contest is a total yardage contest. We need to pick three players.

Six-Player Lineup

Captain - George Kittle ($12,600)

I'm starting things with a bang and taking Kittle as my captain for this DFS lineup.

He is averaging 14.3 fantasy points per game this season, and he is coming off a 22.8-point outing. Kittle has 10.7 or more fantasy points in every game he's played since week 10 - he's been over 20 fantasy points in three of those.

Kittle has a good fantasy matchup tonight, and I like him to be the team's top fantasy pass catcher. If he is, I like my chances with this lineup.

Flex - Christian McCaffrey ($11,800)

I debated McCaffrey in the captain spot, but he just cost too much.

He is averaging 25 fantasy points per game, but has been at 15.7 and 17.4 the past two weeks. I like CMC getting back on track tonight, especially in a game I expect San Fran to win with ease.

McCaffrey has a tougher test, but it's nothing too daunting. I expect him to do it all and deliver a monster fantasy score by the end of the contest.

Flex - Brock Purdy ($10,400)

I kept my theme of Niners going by taking Purdy next.

He is averaging 19.4 fantasy points per game, and scored 27.2 in his last appearance. Purdy had 17.1 fantasy points in the game before that.

Purdy has a so-so matchup tonight, but I want to try him coming off a big game. I think he delivers big again and finishes as one of the better fantasy scorers tonight.

Flex - Jauan Jennings ($8,000)

Jennings gets the next roster spot for me, and caps a big spending spree with this lineup.

He is averaging 11.4 fantasy points per game on the season, but has 18.7, 13.9 and 15.1 over the past three contests. Jennings has four touchdowns over that span, and isn't doing much else, so he's a bit risky, but has great upside.

In a very good matchup though, I expect him to shine again, so I decided to add him to this lineup. If the Niners are moving the ball and scoring, between Jennings, Kittle McCaffrey and Purdy, I should rack up a ton of fantasy points.

Flex - Ameer Abdullah ($2,400)

My one and only Colt in this lineup is Abdullah, who is a backup running back.

He is averaging just 3.1 fantasy points per game on the season, but is coming off a 9.7-point performance in the team's first game with Philip Rivers at quarterback.

The matchup against the Niners is pretty average, so I expect Abdullah to be pretty involved again, especially as the Colts play from behind. I think he could be a sneaky-good DFS asset tonight, especially because he's so cheap.

Flex - 49ers DST ($4,800)

My final lineup choice is the Niners DST.

They are averaging just 4.4 fantasy points per game on the season and have a tough matchup on paper, but the Colts' offense isn't the same without Daniel Jones, so I see the 49ers DST delivering a nice fantasy score tonight.

The over/under is 46 right now, and I expect San Fran to do most of that scoring. Toss in a couple big plays and the DST could reach double-digit fantasy points.

Total Yardage Contest

For the total yardage contest, I think two of the three picks are pretty easy. The third is a toss up though.

I went with McCaffrey and Indianapolis' Jonathan Taylor with the first two spots, then Kittle as the third pick.

McCaffrey is averaging 124.4 total yards per game this season, and he should easily lead the Niners again tonight. Even if this game turns into a blowout, CMC should get to a big number before getting the rest of the night off.

Taylor is averaging 125.8 yards per contest this year, and should lead the charge for Indy tonight. He's not as good of an option with Rivers at QB, but he still had 101 yards last week, and something similar should lead the Colts tonight. His matchup is pretty average.

For the last spot, I decided on Kittle, who is averaging 53.4 yards per game. Only Indy's Alec Pierce averages more yards (65.4) per game this season among the other available options.

These three seem like the best trio for this contest, but I could also see Pierce, Tyler Warren, Michael Pittman, Jennings or Josh Downs being up there with a couple big plays.
