Giants Fantasy Football Outlook for Week 6: Cam Skattebo, Theo Johnson, Tyrone Tracy and More
Looking over the Giants as they prepare for their Thursday night game against the Eagles.
After taking a look at the top fantasy football options for the Eagles, let's go over the Giants, who are the other half of the Thursday night contest.
Check back later for a DFS lineup on the Thursday night game, plus more start/sit content for week 6.

Jaxson Dart Fantasy Outlook
Dart has been working through a hamstring injury, but he's been cleared and has no injury designation for Thursday's game. He's played in four games, but really only contributed anything the past two weeks, both starts.
He had 111 passing yards, a touchdown and no picks on 65% passing in week 4, while rushing for 54 yards and a score on 10 carries. Dart then had 202 passing yards, two scores and two interceptions on 65% passing in week 5, while rushing for 55 yards on seven attempts. He lost a fumble in that contest as well.
Dart's dual-threat ability gives him a decent fantasy outlook most weeks. Fantasy owners are still hoping for a breakout performance before putting a ton of trust in him though.
The matchup for Dart is pretty average, so I wouldn't expect anything too crazy tonight. I do think he's a bit underrated for the week, but is definitely a better deep-league starting option.
Dart is projected for 14 fantasy points in week 6. I have him ranked 22nd among quarterbacks going into the week.
There's enough teams in action to find a better standard league option in week 6. In deeper fantasy setups, I'd be happy to start the rookie.
Running Back Fantasy Outlooks
Cam Skattebo has taken over the backfield lead for New York, but Tyrone Tracy is off the injury report, so it'll be interesting to see how the backfield touches are distributed.
Skattebo has played 189 snaps over five weeks, getting 81 touches along the way. He's rushed for 240 yards and two scores on 63 attempts, while adding 143 receiving yards on 18 receptions and 22 targets. He's had between 16-27 touches over the past three games.
Tracy played in the first three games, playing 89 snaps and getting 30 touches in total. He rushed 22 times for 68 yards and no scores, while adding 54 receiving yards on eight grabs and 12 targets.
Devin Singletary will likely revert to RB3 on the depth chart. In his five games, he's only played 72 snaps, getting 23 touches along the way. Singletary has rushed 21 times for 72 yards and added no receiving yards on two catches and three targets.
The matchup for the Giants' running backs is actually pretty favorable, so I expect them to lean on those backs instead of a rookie quarterback.
Skattebo is projected for 12 PPR points tonight. Tracy is set for 10 points, while Singletary is at just two.
I only have Skattebo in my top-30 PPR running back rankings, at No. 15 overall. I'm not worried about the return of Tracy and think the rookie Skattebo will continue to lead the Giants' backfield.
I'd start Skattebo in just about all fantasy leagues tonight. Tracy is a deep-league starting option in my eyes, while Singletary should be avoided. I'm only a fan of starting Skattebo and Tracy because of the favorable matchup. Their workloads tonight could determine how to utilize both guys going forward.
Wide Receiver Fantasy Outlooks
With Malik Nabers out for the season, the Giants are still figuring out their wide receiver situation.
Wan'Dale Robinson will be the top option tonight, as Darius Slayton has been ruled out with a hamstring injury. Jalin Hyatt and Beaux Collins are other wideouts who should be more involved tonight with Slayton out, and a guy like Gunner Olszewski could also factor in.
Robinson has logged 293 offensive snaps, which is second to Slayton's 303 so far. Robinson has 267 yards and a score on 23 receptions and 34 targets. He had seven targets last week, which was the first game without Nabers.
After Slayton, Hyatt (34) and Collins (28) played the most snaps. Olszewski didn't play a snap, but might in week 6 with Slayton out. Hyatt had no catches across three targets, while Collins had a seven-yard catch across three targets.
Robinson is the only worthwhile Giants' receiver to start tonight. His outlook is pretty solid as the only legit receiver. However, that means the Eagles' defense can take him away a bit easier, so he's still a shaky fantasy option.
The matchup for the Giants' receivers is pretty average. Robinson is the only one on the FSP projection page, sitting at 11 PPR points.
I do not have Robinson, or any other Giants' receivers in my top-30 PPR receiver rankings. I'd be OK starting Robinson in a pinch in standard leagues, but I believe he's a better option in deeper leagues.
Tight End Fantasy Outlooks
The lack of reliable wide receivers should boost the value of the team's tight ends.
Theo Johnson has been serving as the team's top tight end, and has been trending up as a fantasy asset. Daniel Bellinger and Chris Manhertz are some additional TE options.
Johnson has just 99 yards, but three touchdowns on 15 catches and 22 targets this season. He's played 279 snaps. Johnson has five and seven targets over the past two games, during which all three of his touchdowns have come.
Bellinger has played 112 snaps, catching all seven of his targets for 85 yards. Manhertz has a seven-yard catch across two targets in his 65 offensive snaps played.
Unfortunately, the matchup against the Eagles is a very tough one on tight ends, so the outlook for a guy like Johnson takes a decent hit.
Johnson has an OK projection of eight PPR points. I have him ranked at No. 18 for the week.
He's a weaker standard league starting option because of the tough matchup. In a pinch, I could understand starting him, but being pretty touchdown-dependent so far, I'd try to look elsewhere for standard league help. I'd be happy to start him in deeper fantasy leagues.
Bellinger would be an OK starting option in deeper leagues in an average-or-better matchup, but I'd avoid him, and Manhertz, tonight because of the tougher test.
I expect the Giants to lean on Robinson among the pass catchers, but the backs to do most of the fantasy damage.
Kicker Fantasy Outlook
Jude McAtamney has done the kicking for the Giants over the past couple weeks. He and Younghoe Koo are on the team's practice squad with Graham Gano on injured reserve.
McAtamney made two field goals in week 4, but didn't get an attempt in week 5. He's 3-for-3 on his extra points so far.
In a game projected for just 40.5 points and the Giants as 7.5-point underdogs, McAtamney is not a very good fantasy option.
He's set for just six fantasy points, which is tied for the lowest mark in the league. I'd only want to start him in deeper fantasy setups, not standard leagues.
Defense/Special Teams Fantasy Outlook
The Giants' D/ST is projected for six fantasy points as well.
Opponents have gained 1,886 total yards against the Giants, while averaging 25.4 points. They've been better over the past three weeks, but have just three takeaways and nine sacks on the season.
There's not a ton of fantasy value in the Giants' D/ST, and I don't see the Eagles making many mistakes in this one. I'd avoid the New York D/ST at all costs.
