Ravens' Fantasy Football Outlook Led by Star Players | Will Mark Andrews, Rashod Bateman or DeAndre Hopkins Become Weekly Options?

It's time for another fantasy football outlook for 2025. Here, we'll go over the Baltimore Ravens.

Lamar Jackson Fantasy Outlook

Jackson was the top fantasy scorer in 2024. He led the quarterback position with ease.

So it's no surprise to see him as QB1 and going near pick 23 on average so far. 

That's an early pick to spend on a quarterback, but if he ends up as the top fantasy scorer again, or even a top-five finisher, Jackson will be worth it.

He started all 17 games last season. Jackson had 4,172 yards, 41 touchdowns and just four interceptions as a passer. It was easily his best season as a passer over his seven-year NFL career.

Of course, Jackson is a top-end fantasy option because he's a dual-threat guy. He rushed for 915 yards and four scores.

He's an elite fantasy player, and your only real risk with him is an injury. Jackson only played 12 games in 2021 and 2022, but has been at 15 or more games in every other season, so I'm not too concerned about him.

If you believe you can get good running backs, wide receivers and tight ends later in a draft, then taking Jackson in the third round of a standard 10-team redraft league makes enough sense to me.

Running Back Fantasy Outlook

While Jackson stole the show last season, Derrick Henry was still an absolute fantasy stud. He's back for another season and is backed up by Justice Hill, Keaton Mitchell and Rasheen Ali.

Henry was the team's No. 2 fantasy scorer last season. He was RB4 overall. Henry is RB7 and going around pick 12 on average so far. 

I get why Henry is going where he is, but it's a benefit to fantasy owners who land him, as he has room to outperform his ADP and rank at the position. It wouldn't surprise me to see him as RB4 again this season.

Over 17 games last year, Henry had 2,114 total yards and 18 touchdowns. He rushed for 1,921 yards and 16 scores, while adding 193 yards and two scores as a pass catcher.

Henry is a stud, and until I actually see him regress, I'm a believer in him as a fantasy asset. He's a fantastic second-round pick, especially if he drops lower than that ADP. Scoop him up as an incredible RB2 or after getting a top-end wideout in round one.

Hill is RB58 and is going around pick 193 on average. Mitchell is RB66 and is being taken around pick 233.

Hill appeared in 15 games last season, tallying 611 total yards and four scores. He did most of his damage as a pass catcher, hauling in 42 of his 51 targets for 383 yards and three scores. That gives him some fantasy appeal in PPR leagues.

Mitchell only got in five games after dealing with an injury he suffered in 2023. He had just 58 total yards and no scores over 16 touches. It makes sense to see him more involved this season, especially as the team looks to keep Henry fresh.

Neither Hill or Mitchell are going to be heavily featured as long as Henry is in town and healthy. I could see Hill being a flex-level option if he carves out a decent role and has a favorable matchup, but both these backups are better depth options in deeper leagues. 

It makes sense to draft them because they back up a workhorse. If Henry were ever injured, I'd expect Mitchell and Hill to split the backfield, with Ali maybe helping out too.

Don't expect much out of the backs behind Henry if the top back stays healthy though.

Wide Receiver Fantasy Outlook

I expected Baltimore to add more receivers this offseason, but DeAndre Hopkins as a free agent pickup and rookie sixth-round pick LaJohntay Wester don't exactly do the trick. Hopkins is expected to start alongside Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman, and Wester is a depth option alongside Devontez Walker, Tylan Wallace and others.

Flowers is the top guy and is WR28 and going around pick 63 on average so far. 

Across 17 games last season, Flowers had 1,115 total yards and four scores. He improved his total yardage, but scored two less times than he did in a 16-game rookie season.

I personally see Flowers as a better No. 2 receiver, but he's going to be the top guy in Baltimore, at least for now. He was a bit inconsistent with his production last season, so that's why his ADP is where it is at despite being a team's No. 1 wideout.

I could see Flowers easily outproducing his ADP, but there's also several receivers going after him who could move past him too. So his ADP is pretty fair I think, and I'd be willing to take him as a third fantasy wideout. He can fill that third wideout spot if your league has one, or be the top flex option. I wouldn't view him as an every-week starter at this point.

Bateman is WR60 and is going around pick 171 on average, while Hopkins is at WR67 and near pick 190.

Over 17 games with Baltimore last season, Bateman had 756 yards and nine touchdowns. It was easily his best NFL season over four years. He had four touchdowns coming into the year, and hadn't topped 515 yards.

Bateman was a sneaky good fantasy option, but some regression in touchdowns should be expected this season. He's not going in most standard redraft leagues, but could become a waiver wire pickup and streaming option, just like he was last year.

He's a really good option as leagues get deeper. He's a flex option right away, and could turn into a weekly starter depending on how he looks and how deep your league is.

Hopkins played 16 games between time with the Titans and Chiefs last year. He had 610 yards and five scores, doing most of that damage with KC.

He's still got some gas left in the tank as a 33-year-old. Hopkins won't turn back the clock and be a top-end fantasy wideout, but he could work into standard leagues and be a flex option, just like Bateman.

If I had to guess, I'd actually say Hopkins has a better chance of being that level of player, so I really like his ADP and taking a chance on him in deeper leagues. 

He'll be a player to keep an eye on throughout the season, regardless of what type of league you are in.

Tight End Fantasy Outlook

Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely are both fantasy assets from the tight end position. Charlie Kolar is an option if one of the top-two guys are hurt.

Andrews was fantastic in 2024, finishing as TE6 overall. He's TE7 and going around pick 83 so far. Some might not like that ranking, but his ADP is pretty solid actually. 

Andrews played in all 17 regular season games, racking up 678 yards and 11 touchdowns in total. It was a pretty average season in the yard department for Andrews, but the touchdowns made him a top-end option and weekly starter.

Again, expecting that many touchdowns isn't a wise projection for 2025. So some regression could be coming. He still has top-10 TE potential, and could finish near, or above, his ADP.

I personally prefer him dropping a round or so before I'd be interested in taking him. It really comes down to who else is available near that spot and if you'd rather reach on a player or just go after Andrews.

Likely is TE 21 and is going around pick 187 on average. He'd probably be going earlier if he wasn't dealing with an injury - it's not expected to keep him out too long in the regular season, if at all.

He had 477 yards and six scores across 16 games last season. Likely has slowly improved over his first three NFL seasons, and many are expecting more from him in 2025.

There's not a host of top-end pass catchers on the team, so Likely should remain involved. Anytime you're discussing a team's No. 2 TE though, I'm skeptical of them being more than a deep-league asset. Throw in an injury concern and I'm not as high on Likely as I have been in past years.

Likely is a fine pick in deeper redraft leagues, but I'm looking at him more as a flex option in those leagues, and rarely being a standard league threat. We'll see if I'm proven wrong.
