With the 2025 NFL Draft in the rearview mirror, we can start looking forward to the 2025 NFL season.

Today, I wanted to go over my top-15 rookie picks for dynasty leagues. I'll go over options at quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end. I'll rank the rookies (standard fantasy setup) I discuss at the end of the article.

Let's dive right in!

Quarterbacks

Cam Ward is easily my No. 1 rookie quarterback among the rookies.

He landed with the Titans, who don't have the best collection of offensive talent right now. In time, I'd expect Tenneessee to keep building around Ward, giving him new and flashier weapons each season.

Jaxson Dart is the only other QB I'd have in the top 15. He landed with the Giants.

He might sit behind Russell Wilson and/or Jameis Winston all year, but that should work in Dart's favor. I'd expect the team to perform poorly again, thus giving the team another high draft pick and a chance to add more offensive talent around Dart.

I think he's got a solid future if the team doesn't rush him into things this season.

Running Backs

Ashton Jeanty is the top rookie back, and my top dynasty player from the 2025 draft class.

He landed with the Raiders, who are devoid of talent on offense. Jeanty was already going to be a team's bell cow back, and landing with Las Vegas really upped his fantasy value that much more. He's a top-10 dynasty asset to a lot of fantasy owners already, and that might improve as his rookie season moves along.

Omarion Hampton is my No. 2 rookie running back. He was drafted by the Chargers.

I don't love that landing spot for 2025, as Najee Harris was signed this offseason and is going to take away some snaps and touches. In the long run though, Hampton could be the clear No. 1 back for the Chargers, and one of the better fantasy backs in the game if the Chargers' offense keeps moving forward.

I have TreVeyon Henderson slightly over Quinshon Judkins for the third rookie RB spot.

Henderson landed with the Patriots, while Judkins is with the Browns. The landing spots are the difference between them, as I like New England more moving forward than Cleveland.

RJ Harvey and Kaleb Johnson are two more rookie backs I have among the top-15 fantasy rookies going into 2025. Johnson was drafted by the Steelers, while Harvey ended up with the Broncos.

Johnson is in a similar situation to Hampton in that he'll likely split the workload this season. He could be the clear cut No. 1 guy for Pittsburgh from 2026 on though. Harvey might immediately be the top back in Denver, and on an up-and-coming offense, I'm really high on Harvey.

Wide Receivers

Tetairoa McMillan is my top dynasty wideout from the 2025 class. He ended up with the Panthers.

It's not a great landing spot because of the uncertainty the team has at quarterback, but on an offense devoid of really good pass catchers, McMillan could star right away. He could emerge as one of the game's better fantasy wideouts if Bryce Young steps up his play, or Carolina adds a good/great QB.

I'll take Travis Hunter as my No. 2 rookie wideout in dynasty formats. He was taken second overall by the Jaguars.

The only reason I don't have Hunter first is because I'm skeptical of him playing both sides of the ball, and having it limit his offensive ceiling. I think he will be a bigger part of the Jaguars' offense in 2025, but if he keeps playing both sides of the ball, I think his fantasy value will suffer a bit - he's still near the top of my rankings for now.

Matthew Golden checks in third amongst the rookie wideouts. He was taken by the Packers in the first round.

Golden joins an offense with a bunch of pass catchers and playmakers, but no true alpha player. Golden has the talent to maybe become that guy someday, and that's why I'm pretty high on him as a dynasty asset.

Emeka Egbuka is my No. 4 rookie wide receiver from the 2025 class. He was taken by the Buccaneers.

I don't love that landing spot for his rookie season, as Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan are all around. In time, Egbuka could become the team's No. 2 option, or maybe even No. 1, and that's what you should want from your dynasty picks.

Luther Burden III is the last rookie wideout I'd take inside the top-15 picks. He was taken by the Bears.

He's in a similar situation to Egbuka, but was taken a round later and has more young talent to contend with, so he falls behind Egbuka. Burden will have to deal with D.J. Moore and Rome Odunze in the wideout room as a rookie, but in time, I could see Burden being the No. 1 or 2 option for the Bears.

Tight Ends

Tyler Warren is my top-ranked rookie tight end from the 2025 draft class. He narrowly edges out Colston Loveland, who is the only other tight end I'd have in the top 15.

Warren is with the Colts, who are in need of more pass catchers, but also a locked-in quarterback.

Loveland was taken by the Bears. Again, the amount of young pass catchers in Chicago is hurting Loveland's dynasty stock a bit, but he and Warren can climb my list with good rookie seasons.
