Everyone has at least one hole in their fantasy football roster due to injuries (maybe you drafted Justin Jefferson), underperformance (Aaron Jones, anyone?), or just bad drafting (not you, of course). However, holes can be filled and there are almost always good streaming options. It’s just a matter of finding them.

With six teams on byes this week, streaming is going to be even more important than ever as we head into the fantasy playoffs!

I'll be here every week trying to unearth the best streaming options that you can likely find on waivers and plug into your starting lineup for that week. There are some good ones out there for Week 13, so let's dig in!

Explore the best in-season tool to manage lineup/start decisions including predictive waiver analytics to help prioritize waiver pickups, projections, auction values, trade suggestions, trade value charts, rest of season rankings, power rankings, and tons more with Fantasy Assistant.

Quarterback

Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mayfield has been surprisingly good this season and has a chance to put up QB1 numbers with all the bye weeks in Week 13. While Carolina has a solid defense, Mayfield has enough weapons around him to do some damage at home this week. He's been throwing the ball upwards of 30 times almost every week and should finish among the top 15 quarterbacks this week.

Bailey Zappe, New England Patriots

I know, I know. The Patriots are a mess. And Zappe isn't very good. But the Chargers defense is really bad, and I'm banking on a "new start boost" here. While I don't think Zappe is a long-term solution for the Patriots (or any other team), he put up decent fantasy numbers as a fill-in starter last year and is a solid bye week play if you have Lamar Jackson or Justin Fields are your normal weekly starter.

Running Back

Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans

Spears is more of a dart throw (who isn't on this list?), but Derrick Henry isn't seeing the usage he's seen in past years and has ceded some work to the rookie. Spears will likely only see 8-10 touches against the Colts, but he's explosive enough to be able to turn the touches he does see into fantasy points. We're probably not looking at anything more than a bye week flex play here, but Spears is among the top 35-40 running backs out there for Week 13.

Samaje Perine, Denver Broncos

Perine isn't seeing a ton of carries, but he's doing enough with the ones he's getting to put himself on the streamer radar. A week after seeing seven targets, Perine scored a touchdown on one of his seven carries against the Browns. While he's risky due to this lack of high-volume usage, Perine is a solid flex play against the Texans if you're scrambling to find a bye week fill-in.

Wide Receiver

Justin Watson, Kansas City Chiefs

Watson only caught one ball last week after seeing 11 targets against the Eagles, but he turned that catch into a touchdown and returned value. While it's tough to figure out who the Chiefs will target besides Travis Kelce, Watson has been doing enough to earn Patrick Mahomes' trust and is an interesting deep league option against the Packers this week.

A.T. Perry, New Orleans Saints

The Saints may be without some primary pass catchers this week, which would open up a ton of targets for Perry. While he hasn't seen a ton of targets over the past few weeks, he's been running a lot of routes and will see more usage if either (or both) of the Saints' top receivers can'tn play. Perry is more of a Hail Mary play, but there's a very realistic path to fantasy relevance this week.

Tight End

Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints

Johnson saw TE1 usage last week with the aforementioned receiver injuries, and has a chance to see similar usage this week if Olave and/or Shaheed sit. He's seen five red zone targets over the past four weeks, and gets to face a Lions defense that has given up fantasy points to opposing tight ends. Johnson has a very good shot at putting up TE1 numbers this week.

Cade Otton, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

With Chris Godwin downgraded to questionable on Friday, there's a chance the Bucs could have some vacated targets. He's seeing around 4-5 targets a game already, and Godwin's potential absence would open up even more. Even if Godwin plays, Otton commands TE1 targets from Baker Mayfield and has caught at least four passes in five of his last six games.

I wish you all the best of luck in Week 13, and I’ll see you back here next week to see if we can find some hidden gems for Week 14.
