Week 8 Fantasy Basketball Projections and Waiver Wire Options: Dylan Harper, T.J. McConnell, Derik Queen and More

A new week is here, so it's time to go over fantasy basketball weekly projections to identify some possible waiver wire/streaming options.

We will cover players owned in less than 90% of fantasy leagues.

Shooting Guards

Memphis' Cedric Coward is projected for 29 fantasy points over a single game this week. He is rostered in 64% of fantasy leagues. 

Philadelphia's Quentin Grimes is set for 28 points over two contests. He is owned in 84% of leagues.

Boston's Anfernee Simons is projected for a 27-point game this week. He's owned in 64% of leagues.

Golden State's Brandin Podziemski is set for 25 fantasy points over two contests. He's rostered in 65% of leagues right now.

Minnesota's Donte DiVincenzo is owned in 88% of leagues and is set for 23 points over three contests.

Power Forwards

Dallas P.J. Washington is projected for 33 fantasy points over a single game. He is owned in 87% of leagues.

Golden State's Draymond Green is set for 27 points over two contests. He is rostered in 72% of leagues.

New Orlean's Saddiq Bey and Portland's Jerami Grant are each projected for 26 fantasy points in week 8 of the NBA regular season.

Bey is owned in 87% of leagues and has three scheduled games. Grant has two games and is rostered in 89% of leagues.

Los Angeles Clippers' John Collins and Milwaukee's Kyle Kuzma are each set for 25 fantasy points this week.

Collins has a single game and is rostered in 74% of leagues. Kuzma is rostered in 41% of leagues and has two games on tap.

Memphis' Santi Aldama and Milwaukee's Bobby Portis are each projected for 24 fantasy points this week.

Aldama is owned in 84% of leagues and has a single game scheduled. Portis is at 56% rostered and has two games on tap.

Centers

New Orleans' Derik Queen is projected for 28 fantasy points over three contests. He is currently owned in 82% of leagues.

Denver's Jonas Valanciunas is set for 25 fantasy points, but is rostered in just 10% of fantasy leagues. He has a single game on the schedule.

Utah's Jusuf Nurkic is set for 25 points over a single game this week. He is rostered in 72% of leagues.

Point Guards

Chicago's Tre Jones is projected for 25 fantasy points over two contests. He is currently owned in 51% of fantasy leagues.

Dallas' D'Angelo Russell is owned in 29% of leagues and is set for 25 points over a single game.

New Orleans' Jeremiah Fears is also set for 25 points, but over three games this week. He's owned in 71% of leagues.

Charlotte's Collin Sexton is another player projected for 25 fantasy points. He has two games on tap and is rostered in nearly 52% of leagues.

Miami's Davion Mitchell is one of the players projected for 24 fantasy points. He has a single game scheduled for the week and is rostered in 72% of leagues.

Orlando's Anthony Black is set for 24 fantasy points in a single game as well. He is owned in 65% of fantasy leagues.

Chicago's Ayo Dosunmu, Indiana's T.J. McConnell, San Antonio's Dylan Harper, Cleveland's Lonzo Ball and Sacramento's Dennis Schroder are all projected for 23 fantasy points for the coming week.

Dosunmu is owned in 49% of fantasy leagues and has two games on tap. McConnell has three games scheduled and is rostered in 51% of leagues.

Harper has two games scheduled and is currently owned in 50% of leagues. Ball is only rostered in 8% of leagues - he has two games scheduled. Schroder has three games scheduled and is owned in 44% of leagues right now.

Small Forwards

Detroit's Tobias Harris is projected for 28 fantasy points in a single game. He is currently rostered in 69% of fantasy leagues.

Dallas' Naji Marshall is owned in 52% of fantasy leagues and is set for 27 points in a single game.

Washington's Khris Middleton and San Antonio's Keldon Johnson are both projected for 25 fantasy points across two contests. Middleton is rostered in 29% of leagues, while Johnson is owned in 50%.

Phoenix's Dillon Brooks and Cleveland's De'Andre Hunter are each set for 24 fantasy points over two contests. Brooks is owned in 89% of leagues, while Hunter sits at 66% rostered.

Portland's Toumani Camara and San Antonio's Harrison Barnes are each projected for 23 points for the coming week. Camara has two games and is rostered in 77% of leagues, while Barnes has two games and is owned in 35% of fantasy leagues.
