Monday's Fantasy Basketball Streamers: Mitchell Robinson, Miles McBride, and More
Streaming players from three NBA teams that have good matchups on Monday.
Welcome to the first week of November. It's less than four weeks until Thanksgiving and less than eight weeks until Christmas; remember when the NFL season was just starting?
The NBA season and fantasy basketball are well underway, with players and teams beginning to show us who they are, though there is still plenty that will change in the coming weeks and months.
With a focus on fantasy basketball, let's look at the streaming players on three teams that have good matchups on Monday. Most stats are from NBA.com.

Denver Nuggets vs. Sacramento Kings
The Kings are right in the middle in pace, but they have the fourth-worst defensive rating. On a day without a full slate of excellent matchups, Sacramento will have to do as simply a good matchup, still able to help out Denver's role players.
The Nuggets made a few changes, but the idea is the same as it has been since Denver won the championship: Nikola Jokic leads the way, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon are next in line, and the others are there to play a role and form a high-level rotation around the stars.
Guard
Hardaway scores more points (11.2 per game in 23.2 minutes), while Brown does a little more of everything else, though his stats aren't up to a fantasy level. Hardaway scored double-digit points in four of five games, and he is a decent fantasy pickup. Brown is more of a low-level, deep-league fantasy player.
Forward
Watson only contributes at a low level. He reached double figures in two games, but there's not much consistent production.
Center
Centers are a little different than other positions because there are fewer guys who slot in than at guard or forward. Any player who offers production has the intrigue of fantasy value, even if just as a deep streamer. He doesn't play many minutes (12 per game), but Valanciunas has scored at least eight points in four of five games and is averaging 4.6 rebounds per game.
Detroit Pistons @ Memphis Grizzlies
Memphis plays at the fourth-fastest pace and has the ninth-worst defensive rating this season. It's early in the year, so it's hard to know where things will end up, but we can only go on what we know and what we have seen. Ja Morant is suspended for this game, throwing the lineup into flux.
Detroit may have been the most pleasant surprise of any team last season, and they have started this year 4-2, back on the right side of things early. Their next step is winning a playoff series after being knocked out in the first round last year.
Guard
Both LeVert and Green are low-level fantasy players who should only be considered in deep leagues. Green has scored at least seven points in four of six games, though he combined for just two points in the other two. Both guys are better skipped if you can.
Forward
- Ronald Holland II
Holland was the fifth overall pick last year, so there's hope that he can take a jump in his second year after an anonymous rookie season. He is averaging 10 points per game and has hit double digits in four of six games; there's a little upside, though Holland also has a lower floor.
Center
Stewart puts up numbers, even in limited minutes. He had 20 points and 10 rebounds in just 25 minutes in the first game, and he is averaging 9.3 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks per game. Stewart is a low-to-mid-level streamer.
New York Knicks vs. Washington Wizards
The Wizards are playing at the second-fastest pace and have the third-worst defensive rating; they might be our best streaming target. Washington is 1-5 and on the way to being one of the worst teams in the league again. They will be here often.
The Knicks were thought to be the favorites in the Eastern Conference Finals last season but fell to the Pacers. New York is back in the hunt in the wide open conference this season, but we won't know their real chances for months.
Guard
McBride is the guy to grab here, as he is averaging 29 minutes and 11 points per game. He doesn't do a lot else, but McBride scores points and gets on the floor. Shamet and Clarkson are both low-level fantasy players who you can probably upgrade on elsewhere.
Forward
- None
Center
Robinson didn't make his season debut until Friday night, so he is free in most leagues, something that might not be true once he gets more games under his belt. He has just four points but 16 rebounds; you can expect similar results moving forward. Robinson is a decent pickup here who might be worth keeping if you need a center.
