November 2 Fantasy Basketball Streamers: Payton Pritchard, Malik Monk, Jaime Jaquez Jr, and More
Five NBA teams with good matchups on Saturday and the players on those teams who are widely available in fantasy leagues.
Two-thirds of the league is in action on Saturday. There are only three games on Sunday, which I’m sure isn’t an accident. The NFL rules everything else, so other sports schedule around football. Sunday games won’t get near as much attention during the football season; it’s better to use that as a rest day for most teams until after the All-Star break.
Let’s look at five teams who have good matchups on Saturday and the rotation players on those teams who are widely available in fantasy leagues. I try not to list players who are injured, but always check actives/inactives to ensure everyone in your lineup is actually playing. All stats are from NBA.com.
Boston Celtics @ Charlotte Hornets
The Hornets were in the top 10 in pace prior to Friday's game against the Celtics. Boston plays at one of the slowest paces in the league, and they had a big effect on Charlotte’s overall pace because we are only about five games into the season for each team.
Charlotte has the second-worst defense in the league, fighting with the Raptors for the bottom. I’m still targeting them with the expectation they will speed up.

- Al Horford – Horford didn’t play yesterday and is questionable for today, so double-check his status before putting him in your lineup.
- Luke Kornet
- Neemias Queta – Queta generally hasn’t played much but got 24 minutes with Horford out. Kornet played the other 24 minutes, and they will likely split time again if the veteran misses the game.
Sacramento Kings @ Toronto Raptors
Speaking of those Raptors, yes, they have the worst defensive rating of any team. They also play at the seventh-fastest pace, making for a great matchup for any team.

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Milwaukee Bucks
Despite being a championship hopeful, Milwaukee holds the ninth-worst defensive rating. That was also the case early last season before the Bucks eventually figured out the D, and I’m expecting a similar trend as we get further through the schedule.
Milwaukee also plays at the sixth-fastest pace, so they are a team to target with fantasy players right now.

Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards (in Mexico City)
The Wizards have been a great team to target for several seasons, and that likely won’t change while the team is in a rebuild. Washington plays at the second-fastest pace and has the fifth-worst defense, making them maybe the best matchup in the league.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Memphis Grizzlies
Like Charlotte, Memphis was in the fast pace/bad defense group before their last game (on Thursday) but have fallen to an average ranking in one category. In this case, the Grizzlies play at the fourth-fastest pace and are 14th in defensive rating. We will still target them today, but it’s worth watching their defensive trajectory.
Joel Embiid and Paul George will both miss the game again, so a bunch of guys will get minutes and touches that won’t be available soon (allegedly).
