Daniel Vogelbach is the Waiver Pickup of April
Daniel Vogelbach is the single best waiver pickup of the month of April so far. His stats are absolutely ridiculous in this young season. He has a 5 game hitting streak and a four game home run hitting streak.
Obviously there is no way Vogelbach can keep up his torrid pace this season but in the meantime he needs to be owned in all formats. He's hitting .500 with 5 home runs, 9 RBI, and 8 runs scored.
How did Vogelbach fair in the minors last year? How does 20 HRs and .290 in Triple-A with a 15.6% strikeout rate sound to you?
His ownership levels went from 3% on April 1st to 56% as of this writing. How he is not owned in close to 100% of leagues is mind-boggling to me. He needs to be owned and played while he is playing this hot.
Fantasy owners need to find a way to roster him and then worry about what happens when he cools off later.
