Jeremy Lin will be back after all-star break

Jeremy Lin has had a tough-luck kinda season thus far but hopes to change that after all-star break when he is slated to play against the Denver Nuggets on February 24th.

Lin will start off on a minutes restriction as the Nets try to ease him back into playing shape. Lin has only played in 12 games this season and played his last game on December 26th against the Charlotte Bobcats.

Channing Frye helps fill in for Love injury

Channing Frye will be the main guy that helps fill the void for the Cleveland Cavaliers while Kevin Love is sidelined for the next 6 to 8 weeks.

In his last two games, Frye has averaged 31.5 minutes per game, which is 4th on the team. Against the T-Wolves, Frye had season highs in points 21 and rebounds 10.

Jimmy Garoppolo, the gunslinger

Jimmy Garoppolo is on the trading block, and apparently Julian Edelman thinks he's a stud. Sure, Garoppolo did play well when called upon, but Julian is pushing the limits and is surely trying to hype up the potential trade bait.

Earlier in the playoffs, it was announced that the Patriots would entertain trades for Garoppolo. Now, Edelman is doing his best to help the Patriots get all they can for him. So far the Browns and Texans have been rumored to be interested.

Seahawks warned for not listing Sherman on injury report

The NFL has a strict policy that all significant injuries must be mentioned on an injury report. Well, the Seattle Seahawks violated that policy and have received a warning for not listing Richard Sherman on the injury report.

Richard Sherman did not miss a game last season, but he did miss practice time during the team's second half of the season. He was listed on the injury report for a total of 11 games.

Khris Middleton on minutes restriction

Milwaukee Bucks start Khris Middleton has been on a minutes restriction since returning to the lineup on February 8th.

He also did not play yesterday to avoid playing in back-to-back games. However, expect Middleton's workload to slowly increase by the end of this month and could be playing 30 minutes by March.

Deron Williams returns to starting role

Dallas Mavericks point guard, Deron Williams, returned to his familiar spot as the starting point guard.

Williams finished the night with 7 points, 4 assists, 3 steals in just 16 minutes. His minutes per game will rise as he gets his feet back under him.

Tom Brady proves he is the best ever

The New England Patriots had an epic comeback win in Super Bowl LI. They came back from a deficit of 28-3 and Tom Brady's legacy has been cemented as the greatest quarterback to ever play the game.

At one point in the game, the Patriots had a less than 1% chance to come back. Yet, he and the Patriots defied the odds. Brady threw for nearly 200 in the fourth quarter alone, which was reminiscent of his dominant fourth quarter performance against the vaunted Seahawks in 2014.

Yogi Ferrell signs two-year deal

We wrote about Yogi Ferrell being a player to target on the waiver wire a few days ago and today the Mavericks are locking him up in a two-year deal according to ESPN.

Last night Ferrell had his best game yet scoring 32 points on 5 assists, 2 rebounds and only 2 turnovers while shooting 65% from the field. That is a game that deserves some attention.

Arians thinks Carson Palmer will be back

Coach Bruce Arians thinks that Carson Palmer will be back with the team despite the rumors coming out that Carson Palmer had sold his house in Arizona.

However, those rumors could be false according to Kent Somers who who his Arizona house is "not for sale".

Pau Gasol close to returning

Pau Gasol is close to returning to the San Antonio Spurs, and there is a chance it could be before All-Star Break according to the San Antonio Express-News.

“They tell me that maybe if at the beginning of All-Star break, maybe somewhere around there he can play game, or when we return he should be able to go,” Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. “I am guessing probably after the break he should be ready to go.”
