Garrett Temple in-line for bigger role

Brant Tedeschi Jan 20th 1:41 PM EST.

Garrett Temple is yet another Sacramento King that could see significant increases in his minutes per day with Rudy Gay out.

His season averages are nothing special with 7.6 points, 2 assists, 2.8 rebounds while playing 25.7 minutes per game. However a bump in minutes will provide better numbers and an insertion into the starting lineup could prove to be a game changer for him.

Gay was second on the team in minutes played at 34.2, so he is offering up a lot of minutes that need to be filled. One of those player's to help fill those minutes should be Matt Barnes and Anthony Tolliver.
