Brant Tedeschi Apr 16th 12:20 PM EDT.

Hyun-jin Ryu tops todays list of waiver wire trends with an increase of almost 12%. The reason is simple, he was lights out in his last start against the Oakland Athletics and he has two starts this week.

On April 10th against the A's, Ryu pitched 6 innings for 8 strikeouts, 1 walk, and no earned runs with 90 pitches. His season stats are currently a 2.79 ERA, 10/6 K/BB, 9.3 K/9, and a 1.24 WHIP. Keep in mind, he has only started two games in this young season.

Brant Tedeschi Apr 12th 12:27 PM EDT.

Rhys Hoskins is off to a hot start in 2018 and appears to be a bargain in most fantasy drafts at an average draft position of 46.

Hoskins is hitting 364 with two home runs, 6 RBI, and 7 runs scored. As you may recall, Hoskins was a fantasy hero last season to many teams and started off his career on a record-setting home run pace.

Brant Tedeschi Apr 12th 10:31 AM EDT.

Gary Sanchez had a monster night at the plate against the Boston Redsox. Sanchez hit two home runs and went 3 for 5 with 3 Runs and 4 RBI.

Sanchez needed this kind of game and he is still batting just 122 on the year with 3 HR, 7 RBI, and 5 Runs. The consensus #1 catcher entering the season will be just fine moving forward.

Judge off to a great start in 2018

Brant Tedeschi Apr 11th 12:17 PM EDT.

Fantasy owners were probably wondering what they might expect from Aaron Judge to start the 2018 season. Would they get the slumping Judge from after all-star break or the red-hot Judge from the end of the season?

So far Judge looks impressive with a .333 AVG, 3 HR, 8 RBI, and 9 RUNS. Fantasy owners have to be happy that they took him over Stanton right now. Against Chris Sale of the Red Sox last night, Judge took him deep accounting for the only run against Sale's brilliant night.
