Manson provides elite physical peripherals and steady secondary scoring on Colorado blue line

Josh Manson enters his age-35 campaign as a foundational physical presence on the Colorado Avalanche defense corps. While he does not command power-play time on a stacked Colorado roster, Manson delivers consistent top-four and secondary-pairing minutes at even strength and shorthanded. His physical brand of hockey continues to make him a fixture in banger leagues, providing reliable contact and defensive coverage without sacrificing puck movement.

Offensively, Manson offers steady secondary production despite the lack of man-advantage deployment. Coming off a 33-point effort with an impressive +44 rating in 2025, his ability to chip in 25 to 30 points at even strength keeps him fantasy-relevant in deeper formats. While his shot volume is modest at roughly 1.5 shots per game, his plus-minus upside remains elite thanks to Colorado's high-powered offensive system.
