Bears wide receiver Cameron Meredith (knee) tells us he expects to be ready for the start of training camp. Not sure yet if hell be able to participate in the offseason program. (ESPN - Jeff Dickerson)
FF Today's Take: What little chance the Bears' quarterbacks had this season fell by the wayside about the same time Meredith suffered ACL and MCL injuries on a gruesome injury in the third preseason game. Even though the Bears should be considered a strong candidate to add a first-round receiver such as Alabama's Calvin Ridley with their first pick, Meredith should return as the team's top wideout in 2018 regardless of whom Chicago hires to run the offense.
After tearing ligaments in his knee during the preseason, wide receiver Cameron Meredith says he's on schedule to return to the field this summer.
