Should You Start Germie Bernard?
Pittsburgh's Germie Bernard is the big name inside the FantasySP start/sit tool right now.
He is part of trending decisions with Arizona's Michael Wilson, Pittsburgh's DK Metcalf, Green Bay's Matthew Golden, Minnesota's Justin Jefferson and even Los Angeles Rams' Puka Nacua.

Bernard has come on strong the past two weeks, combining for 167 receiving yards and a touchdown across 17 catches and 21 targets. Over six games overall, the rookie has 227 yards and a score on 24 catches and 32 targets.
He gets a matchup against the Saints in Week 7, and that's a slightly below-average fantasy test for him. With what he's done of late and tossing in the matchup, that makes the rookie a pretty good option for Week 7.
As expected, most fantasy owners are starting Nacua over Bernard, with both wideouts starting in 60% of leagues. Nacua is one of the top fantasy wideouts in the game, and if healthy, he should start in all leagues.
Nacua got injured in practice on Thursday though, so his availability is now in question. Have plans in place to replace him if necessary, but if he's cleared to play, he's a must-start asset with Davante Adams already out for the Rams.
Bernard is the preferred starting wide receiver over Wilson, with both guys starting in 41% of leagues. Wilson is his team's WR1 easily, but he still plays second fiddle to tight end Trey McBride.
Wilson has also struggled the past couple of weeks, so that's another thing leading to him being skipped in some fantasy lineups. He has a below-average matchup coming against the Broncos, but I still prefer him over Bernard, by a good ways too.
In a battle of Pittsburgh wideouts, fantasy owners like Metcalf over Bernard. On teams where both WRs are owned, they are starting together 41.67% of the time.
I also like Metcalf over Bernard, although that could change in time. In the matchup against the Saints, both wideouts should be capable of good fantasy scores, so both are worthy starting options.
Golden is the heavy favorite over Bernard, while fantasy owners are starting both guys 61.33% of the time.
I also heavily prefer Golden over Bernard, with the Packers' wideout at No. 6 in my Week 7 WR rankings. That's not to say that Bernard is a far worse option, because he's really a pretty solid option, but between him and Golden, it's not particularly close in my eyes.
Jefferson is a heavy favorite over Bernard, with both guys being started in 70.09% of leagues. Jefferson is a high-end wideout, not quite to Nacua's status, but still one of the best receivers in the game, so he needs to be starting if he's active.
I have Jefferson ranked seventh this week, so he is the clear choice over Bernard, but I'd have no issues still starting Bernard if I could.
Should You Start Denzel Boston?
Cleveland's Denzel Boston is only in two trending decisions, one against San Francisco's Christian Kirk and another against Las Vegas' Tre Tucker.
Boston has 345 yards and three touchdowns across his 17 receptions and 34 targets in six games played. He struggled in Week 6, so he's tougher to trust in Week 7.
I still have Boston ranked as my No. 25 wide receiver for Week 7. A pretty favorable matchup against the Titans helps his cause, and could lead to a bounceback performance.
Fantasy owners like Boston over Tucker, with both receivers starting in 29.23% of leagues. Tucker delivered in Week 6, but has a very tough test coming in Week 7 against the LA Rams.
Because of the tough matchup, I don't have Tucker ranked in my top-30 wideouts, although he didn't miss the list by much. I still prefer Boston over Tucker by a decent bit, with the matchups being the biggest reason why.
Boston is the heavy favorite over Kirk, who has yet to play in 2026 because of an injury, but is trending toward appearing for the first time in Week 7. Both wideouts are starting together in just 5.26% of leagues.
There's some appeal with Kirk if he can play, especially if Mike Evans is out - he's dealing with his own injury right now. Boston is the clear starting choice when up against Kirk though, so that's not much of a decision in my eyes.
