1. Josh Allen
Allen gets the top spot this week heading into a tougher test against the Rams.

Allen is the top fantasy QB for a reason though, and should be trusted regardless of the matchup. He'll get the job one way or another, so fantasy owners should trust him most this week.
2. Joe Burrow
Burrow lands second for me heading into a pretty solid matchup against the Dolphins.
He could be without a couple pass catchers, but it's a game the Bengals should still control, and I think that leads to a big fantasy score for the QB.
3. Jared Goff
Goff might be a surprise at No. 3, but he's been good this season and has a favorable test coming against the Cardinals.
Detroit needs a bounceback win, and I think Goff shines in a big offensive performance for the Lions.
Stafford gets the No. 4 spot heading into a great matchup against the Bills.
That could be a high-scoring game, which will aid in Stafford finishing with a big fantasy score.
Lawrence lands the fifth slot this week heading into an above-average test against the Eagles.
He's been more average this season, but on a week where byes start and several QBs are banged up, I really like Lawrence.
Brissett is another surprise name in the top-10 quarterbacks.
He's been OK this season, but has the best matchup possible against the Lions. Trying to help the Cardinals keep up, I think Brissett finishes with a big fantasy score.
7. Dak Prescott
Prescott lands my No. 7 ranking. He has the toughest matchup of the bunch so far, as he takes on the Buccaneers.
The Cowboys' offense could go off against anyone, and I think Prescott fares well despite the tougher test.
8. Brock Purdy
Purdy has been stellar so far this season, but he has a brutal matchup against the Seahawks, so this is as high as I could rank him.
We'll see if the Niners' offense can keep rolling and lead to another big fantasy outing for Purdy.
9. Drake Maye
Maye got rolling a bit in Week 4, and that helps him to the 10th spot in my Week 5 rankings.
An average matchup against the Raiders awaits. I see Maye delivering fairly well in this one, so definitely consider adding/starting him if he's available in your league.
10. Jayden Daniels
Daniels is expected back this week, but a below-average matchup against the Giants awaits.
I'd understand wanting to rank Daniels higher, but between the matchup and his injury concern, 10th is as high as I could go.
11. Jalen Hurts
Hurts gets the 11th slot heading into a pretty tough test against the Jaguars.
He really should rank lower, but I'm giving him this slot thanks to his dual-threat ability.
12. Bo Nix
Nix will look to get rolling in an above-average matchup against the Chargers.
He hasn't looked great yet though, so I'm only going to rank him this high. Maybe this is the game that gets him rolling.
13. Kyler Murray
Another above-average test against the Saints awaits Murray, who is another dual-threat QB.
He's been below average in all his appearances this season, so this is as high as I could comfortably rank him.
14. Jordan Love
Love is a decent option for this week, but between so-so results and a tougher test against the Bears, 14th is as high as I could go with him.
Green Bay has been forced to try to win sloppy games with the state of the team right now, so that limits Love until we see something else.
15. Tyler Shough
I wanted to rank Shough much, much higher, but the toughest fantasy matchup against Minnesota is stopping me from doing so.
Shough is capable of still delivering a good score, so ranking in the middle for me here feels right.
16. Deshaun Watson
Watson is another I could have ranked higher, but he has a tough test coming against the Jets.
Watson is probably a better deep-league starting option as a result.
17. Kirk Cousins
Throw Cousins in that group of QBs I could have ranked higher too.
He takes on a tougher Patriots' defense though, so I scaled back my expectations for the veteran QB this week.
18. Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers, on the other hand, has a stellar matchup coming against the Colts.
He could very easily outperform this ranking, but I also feel it's fair given he's not all that consistent at this point of his career.
19. Sam Darnold
Darnold lands 19th for me heading into a pretty tough test against the Niners.
Darnold has two very different fantasy scores in his two games he's finished, so until we see more consistency, he'll rank near this slot.
20. C.J. Stroud
Stroud is another QB who could exceed expectations, but a tougher test against the Titans awaits, so this slot felt best to put him in.
He's been average-or-above in three of his four games, but I'm not fully on board with him just yet.
21. Jalon Daniels
Daniels was slightly below average last week in his first start, and now he gets a stellar matchup against the Cowboys in Week 5.
I still couldn't get myself to rank him any higher, but he's a sneaky-good deep-league option for this week.
22. Justin Herbert
Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Herbert only ranks 22nd for me this week.
A decent matchup against the Broncos awaits, but until we see better results from Herbert, I'm not ranking him any higher.
23. Daniel Jones
Jones lands at No. 23 going into a very tough test against the Steelers.
Jones has also been below average every week this season, so I wouldn't recommend starting him if you don't have to this week.
24. Jameis Winston
Winston has a stellar matchup against the Commanders this week, but I simply do not trust him as a fantasy asset right now.
He could surprise, but I'd also be doing my best to avoid starting Winston in Week 5.
25. Cam Ward
Ward is another QB who has a good matchup (against Houston) but who I simply don't trust yet.
He's been too inconsistent, and until I see more from him, I'd look elsewhere for fantasy QB help.
26. Geno Smith
Smith has a couple decent fantasy outings, but is coming off a dud in Week 4.
He has an above-average test against the Browns, but after last week, I'm too nervous to try Smith outside very deep fantasy leagues.
27. Michael Penix
A pretty average matchup awaits Penix in Week 5. He'll be facing the Ravens.
He's been below average in his two starts this season, so this feels like the right place to rank the Falcons' QB.
28. Tyson Bagent
Bagent was below average a week ago in his start, and going into a below-average test with the Packers, I'm not very high on him.
I'd expect the Bears to run the ball a bunch, limiting Bagent's fantasy outlook a good bit.
29. Tyler Huntley
Huntley appears lined up to start in Baltimore as Lamar Jackson deals with an injury.
Huntley is a dual-threat QB and has a decent matchup against the Falcons, but I wouldn't want to be starting him in many leagues.
30. Malik Willis
Willis gets the final spot in this week's rankings heading into an average test against the Bengals.
He hasn't done much this season, so until we see more, he'll rank near the bottom of my rankings every week.
Other Notes
If Daniels doesn't get cleared, it's likely to be Athan Kaliakmanis starting for Washington. I'd rank him after Huntley and before only Willis.
If Jackson were to be cleared and start for Baltimore, I'd rank him after Lawrence and before Brissett.
