Week 15 of the NFL regular season is underway, but that doesn't mean fantasy football waiver wire adds slow. In this article, let's check out players on the rise as the weekend hits.

We will look at quarterbacks, running backs and tight ends - no wide receivers were on the waiver list today.

Fantasy football waiver options can be found daily on FantasySP!

Quarterbacks

Washington's Marcus Mariota, Indianapolis' Philip Rivers, San Francisco's Brock Purdy and Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence are on the rise today.

Mariota is up 3.24% and he now sits at 21.67% overall. He will make the start for Washington this weekend with Jayden Daniels out with an injury again.

He has a great matchup coming against the Giants, so he's a really solid deep-league option. I have him ranked 22nd among starting quarterbacks for week 15.

Rivers is owned in 6% of leagues after a 2.59% increase today. He recently came out of retirement, and might end up starting for the Colts on Sunday against the Seahawks.

That's a tough matchup, so he (or Riley Leonard) should only be deep-league options. If your fantasy matchup this week is meaningless, it would be fun to start Rivers - if he in fact starts. This matchup is just not one to try him, or Leonard, in though.

Purdy has been added in 2.26% of leagues and is rostered in 89.97% of leagues overall.

Purdy has a great matchup against the Titans this weekend, so I'm surprised his own percentage isn't close to 100. He ranked 10th among QBs for me in week 15.

Lawrence is owned in 70.9% of leagues after a 1.51% increase today.

He has a nice matchup coming against the Jets, but is dealing with an ankle ailment, so that puts a damper on things. Lawrence has been an above-average fantasy QB for several weeks though, so I get wanting to start him still.

I ranked Lawrence 11th for week 15.

Tight Ends

Baltimore's Isaiah Likely, Jacksonville's Brenton Strange, Houston's Dalton Schultz and Buffalo's Dalton Kincaid are all being added today.

Likely is up 2.69% and he's now owned in 35.45% of leagues overall.

Likely has been trending up over the past two weeks, and now has the best fantasy matchup possible for a tight end against the Bengals. Likely had 95 yards on five catches and six targets in the last meeting against Cincy.

With Mark Andrews at least banged up, Likely could do more as a fantasy asset in week 15. I already had him ranked 16th this week among tight ends, and he'd replace Andrews at No. 11 if Andrews is out with his injury.

Strange has been added in 1.87% of leagues, bringing his overall mark to 75.59%.

Strange was slowed last week after a couple nice showings in weeks 12 and 13. He has a below-average matchup coming against the Jets.

I ranked Strange 18th this week as a result, so I only see him as a deep-league starting option. In a better matchup, he could have been a standard league option, but I'd try to avoid him in those leagues this week.

Schultz is up 1.39% today and he's now rostered in 70.33% of leagues overall.

Schultz was unimpressive as a fantasy asset in week 14, but a good matchup against the Cardinals means he could surprise in week 15. He has top-10 upside because of the matchup, and if he scores, but I ranked him 17th, so I like him starting more in deeper leagues.

Kincaid is rostered in 92.31% of leagues after a 1.18% boost up today.

Kincaid returned in week 14 and had 41 yards and a score on four receptions and five targets in the most favorable fantasy test for a TE against the Bengals.

His week 15 clash against the Patriots is above average, and Kincaid had 108 yards on six receptions and targets the last time the teams met, so I think he's going a bit overlooked, even though he's over 90% owned.

I ranked Kincaid sixth for week 15, so I think he needs to be starting in all leagues this week.

Running Backs

Washington's Chris Rodriguez is the only running back on the waiver wire list today. He's up 2.36% and is owned in 61.54% of leagues overall.

He ranked 27th for me this week going into a great matchup against the Giants.

Rodriguez has been functioning as the lead Washington back, but hasn't exactly popped as a fantasy performer. Maybe this week will be his breakout performance.

He's a great flex-level starting option because of the matchup, but is a safer play in deeper leagues.
