Let's continue my fantasy football draft bust and steal series by looking at possible running back steals.

We've looked at running back busts and quarterback steals and busts so far. Keep checking back for even more steals and busts for the wide receiver and tight end positions.

I'll be using the FantasySP Average Draft Position list for help in identifying some possible steals. I'm going to limit myself to the running backs currently going in the top 65 picks, because otherwise I could list a ton of backs.

Derrick Henry - Ravens

Henry is the sixth RB listed on the ADP list, going around pick 12 so far. He was the No. 4 fantasy back, both overall and on a per-week basis, last season.

He's being slept on a bit - really, some other backs are just being overhyped. Henry is going to continue to be the workhorse in Baltimore, and I think it will help him finish above the No. 6 fantasy back.

De'Von Achane - Dolphins

Achane was right behind Henry last season overall, while sitting sixth on a per-week basis. He's the No. 7 back on the ADP list, going at pick 14 on average.

I think Achane is going to improve upon his numbers from last season as the Dolphins look to improve on offense. As long as Achane stays healthy, I could see him being a big draft steal, even though he's going in the early second round.

Josh Jacobs - Packers

Jacobs was the No. 6 fantasy back in points leagues last season. He was eighth on a weekly basis.

Jacobs is currently the ninth back on the ADP list, going around pick 19. He'll be the workhorse in Green Bay again this season, and as long as he's healthy, I see him finishing higher than his current ADP marks.

Kyren Williams - Rams

Williams is another possible draft steal in my eyes. He's the No. 11 RB on the ADP list, going around pick 27 so far.

He was 10th on a weekly basis last year, and was seventh overall. I see Williams as a massive part of the Rams' offense even after the offseason addition of Davante Adams. LA is still going to want to run with an aging Matthew Stafford at QB, and Williams has thrived in that workhorse role in the past, and I think he'll power the backfield again in 2025.

Breece Hall - Jets

Hall had a disappointing 2024 season, but it dropped his draft value to a point where I think you can get some real value out of him. He's the No. 13 back on the ADP list, going around pick 30.

New York should put a bigger emphasis on the running game this season, which will work in Hall's favor. Now, he just needs to stay healthy, and I think it could help him deliver a great bounceback season.

Alvin Kamara - Saints

Kamara was the No. 5 fantasy back on a per-week basis last season. He sits 15th among running backs on the ADP list, and is going around pick 39.

If Kamara stays healthy, he should finish well above the 15th fantasy back. New Orleans is going to run the ball a ton, and probably use the short-passing game, which is where Kamara thrives.

We'll see if Kamara's draft stock rises as the season nears, but right now, he looks like a huge fantasy draft steal to me.

Joe Mixon - Texans

Mixon was the No. 9 fantasy back last season on a per-week basis. He's 19th on the ADP list, going around pick 49.

Houston signed Nick Chubb, which is going to scare fantasy owners off Mixon. I still see Mixon outperforming his ADP rank, and his draft stock probably has a better chance to drop than it does rise, so he could become an even better draft steal option as the season nears.

Aaron Jones - Vikings

Jones had a solid fantasy season last year, but probably was a bit underwhelming based on his preseason projections. It's dropped him to the 25th back on the ADP list, with him going around pick 65 so far.

Minnesota has Jordan Mason and Ty Chandler as backup options at RB, but with a first-year starting QB in J.J. McCarthy, I see Jones getting plenty of work and being a better fantasy asset than his ADP says.
